Woodhouse, Leeds
Woodhouse is a largely residential area just north of the city centre of Leeds and home to the University of Leeds. It is in the Hyde Park and Woodhouse ward of City of Leeds metropolitan district. The name Woodhouse is first attested around the 1170s as Wd(e)husa, Wd(e)huse, and Wudeusum. It is likely to derive from Old English wudu 'wood' and hūs 'houses'. It was described in 1853 as a "large and handsome village".
Headingley Stadium
Headingley Stadium is a sporting complex in the Leeds suburb of Headingley in West Yorkshire, England. It is the home of Yorkshire County Cricket Club, rugby league team Leeds Rhinos and rugby union team Leeds Carnegie (formerly known as Leeds Tykes). There are two separate grounds, with a two-sided stand housing common facilities. Initially, the whole complex was owned by the Leeds Cricket, Football and Athletic Company, which is the parent company of both rugby clubs.
Miles Hill
Miles Hill is a district in Leeds. It is about 1.5 miles north of Leeds city centre, West Yorkshire, England and is situated between Meanwood and Chapel Allerton next to Beck Hill. As the name suggests, it is a hilltop, looking south over Leeds down the A61 Scott Hall Road. The main part is the Miles Hill estate of 1920's council houses, brick built semi-detached and terraces.

The Otley Run is a pub crawl in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The route follows the A660, also known as Otley Road at the point the pub crawl commonly begins. The Otley Run is a popular social gathering for student clubs and societies from The University of Leeds, Leeds College of Music, Leeds College of Art, Leeds Trinity University College and Leeds Metropolitan University and is also a common activity for birthdays and other celebrations among graduates and city residents.
Cranmer Bank
Cranmer Bank is a council estate situated in Moor Allerton, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The estate is often referred to as Black Moor, however these are two separate areas of Moor Allerton. The estate has a parade of shops including a Post Office The Tynwald area separates Cranmer Bank from Black Moor, while Alwoodley lies further up King Lane.
Leeds Grand Mosque
Leeds Grand Mosque is the largest mosque in Leeds with a Friday congregation of 500–600. It is located at 9 Woodsley Road, Hyde Park, Leeds, LS6 1SN West Yorkshire, England. It was converted from a church in 1994, with funding from Saif Bin Muhammad Al-Nehayyan of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Its main hall provides a large open space which has been used for experiments in human echo-location. It is the home of the first Muslim Scout Group in Leeds.
Skyrack
Skyrack was a wapentake of the West Riding of Yorkshire, England. It was split into upper and lower divisions and centred on Leeds. The Lower Division included the parishes of Aberford, Bardsey, Barwick-in-Elmet, Kippax, Thorner, Whitkirk and part of Harewood, while the Upper Division included the parishes of Adel, Bingley, Guiseley and parts of Harewood, Ilkley and Otley. The Skyrack wapentake derives its name from a large oak that grew for centuries within Headingley, Leeds.
Meanwood Beck
The Meanwood Beck is a stream in West Yorkshire, England, which flows through Adel, Meanwood and Sheepscar into the River Aire in central Leeds. In older texts it was sometimes referred to as the Sheepscar Beck, however that term has fallen out of use. The beck was previously a source of water for the village of Headingley and two of its earliest bridges led straight to it.
Carr Manor
Carr Manor is a Victorian grade II listed house in Meanwood, Leeds, England, designed by Edward Schroeder Prior and built for Thomas Clifford Allbutt M.D. (1836–1925). In 1881 it replaced Carr Manor House, though retaining the 1796 stable block. The former gardener's and housekeeper's cottages, the former stables (now garage) and the wall, gate piers and gates are also grade II listed. It was Richard Norman Shaw’s custom to give setting up commissions to his former pupils.
Leeds Outer Ring Road
The Leeds Outer Ring Road is a main road that runs around most of the perimeter of the city of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The ring road is approximately 25 miles long and consists of single and dual carriageways. The road begins in Belle Isle and ends in Colton at junction 46 of the M1 motorway. It begins in Belle Isle as an un-numbered road and goes through to Beeston.
Moorfield House, Headingley
Moorfield House is a Victorian house in Headingley, Leeds, England built between 1855 and 1856 by William Glover Joy. It is now number 11 Alma Road, and is also referred to as Moorfield Court.
Tetley Hall
Tetley Hall was a catered hall of residence located in Headingley at the University of Leeds, England. It housed around 218 students in one main block, composed of two sections, Woodhouse and Heathfield, two listed Victorian buildings, Moorfield Lodge and Moor Grange, and four additional houses, Burton Grange, Burton Lea, the Cottage, and Moor Road House. The site was sold for £8.1 million in 2006 and is no longer used for student housing. The last academic year to live there was 2005/06.
Woodhouse Moor
Woodhouse Moor is an open space approximately one mile (1.6 km) from Leeds city centre, West Yorkshire, England. Today it consists of 3 parts: a formal park, Woodhouse Moor (sometimes referred to as Hyde Park - see below), of around 26 hectares in area on the west of Woodhouse Lane, and two other open areas on the east of it.
Meanwood Valley Trail
The Meanwood Valley Trail is a waymarked footpath and annual (March/April) footrace route in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It runs for a distance of 7 miles from the statue of (former Leeds mayor) Henry Rowland Marsden, 1878, on Woodhouse Moor, close to the University of Leeds, through Headingley, Meanwood and Adel to Breary Marsh, Golden Acre Park, where it meets the Leeds Country Way. For most of its route (to King Lane) it is the official Leeds link to the Dales Way.
Brudenell Social Club
The Brudenell Social Club is a social club in the Hyde Park area of Leeds, England. It is best known as a venue for live music. The Brudenell was formed as a 'gentleman's social and recreational club' in 1913 and originally was a social club for cabaret and bingo. The venue is a music venue in Leeds due to its proximity to Hyde Park, one of two areas in the city with extremely high student populations (the other being Headingley).
St Michael and All Angels Church, Headingley
Headingley Parish Church or the Parish Church of St Michael and All Angels in Headingley, a suburban area of the city of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England is a large Victorian Church of England parish church in the centre of the parish on Otley Road. The church attracts visitors and worshippers from outside the parish and is popular with students.
Hyde Park Picture House, Leeds
Hyde Park Picture House in the Hyde Park area of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, was originally built as a hotel in 1908 and converted to a cinema in 1914. It is an example of an Edwardian venue and one of the few surviving picture palaces in the United Kingdom. As a Grade II listed building, the Hyde Park still boasts many original features including gas lighting and a decorated Edwardian balcony. The cinema has a piano and organ. It is the only gas lit cinema remaining in use in the UK.
Sugarwell Court
Sugarwell Court is a hall of residence of Leeds Metropolitan University located off Meanwood Road in the Meanwood area of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. There are currently 7 blocks based on site, which are alphabetically placed around the campus, called Airedale, Bishopdale, Coverdale, Deepdale, Eskdale, Farndale and Glaisdale. In total the hall accommodates 388 people. Eskdale has facilities for disabled students.

The Cottage Road Cinema is the oldest cinema in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It is one of the oldest cinemas in the United Kingdom, in that it has been continuously showing films since 1912.
St Margaret of Antioch Church, Leeds
The former St Margaret of Antioch's Church building is situated on Cardigan Road, Headingley, West Yorkshire, England, near Burley Park railway station. It is an example of Late Gothic Revival church architecture, and it was built in the first few years of the twentieth century, being consecrated in 1909. It was built in the Parish of Burley to serve the population of the newly built red-brick terrace houses in the area, part of the late Victorian expansion of Leeds.

Leeds Law School is one of the two brands within the Faculty of Business & Law – the other brand is Leeds Business School. Leeds is the UK's largest centre for business, legal, and financial services outside London, and according to the most recent Office for National Statistics estimates, Leeds is the fastest growing city in the UK.
Brudenell School
Brudenell School also known originally as Brudenell Council School was a mixed school for infants, juniors and seniors, on Welton Road in the Hyde Park area of Leeds. The large and impressive Victorian building dated from before 1900, and was demolished around 1990. A modern Primary School, built in 1992, now exists on the site.
Woodhouse Cemetery
Woodhouse Cemetery (formally Leeds General Cemetery, and also known as Woodhouse Lane Cemetery and, since its closure in 1969, St George's Fields) is a former cemetery in Woodhouse, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It is now within the campus of the University of Leeds, and has been landscaped and kept as an open space. Some original monuments, and the cemetery chapel, remain. The Leeds General Cemetery Company was set up in 1833 to create a new cemetery as that of the parish church was full.
Woodhouse Ridge
Woodhouse Ridge is a strip of woodland on the South West hillside of the Meanwood valley in urban area of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Locally known as 'The Ridge', the area is notable as a significant area of mature woodland in an otherwise highly developed urban area. The woods are centred at grid reference 53.820061,-1.560144 and are enclosed by Meanwood road to the North and by Woodhouse and Headingley to the South.
Brotherton Library
The Brotherton Library is a 1936 Grade II listed Beaux-Arts building with some art deco fittings, located on the main campus of the University of Leeds. It was designed by the firm of Lanchester & Lodge, and is named after Edward Brotherton, 1st Baron Brotherton, who in 1927 donated £100,000 to the university as funding for its first purpose-built library. The Brotherton Library is now the principal component of what has become Leeds University Library.
