Kirkby Lonsdale
Kirkby Lonsdale is a small town and civil parish in the South Lakeland district of Cumbria, England, on the River Lune. Historically within Westmorland, it is situated 13 miles south east of Kendal along the A65. The parish had a population of 1,771 recorded in the 2001 census. Notable buildings include St Mary's Church, a Norman structure with fine carved columns.
Leck Beck
Leck Beck is a watercourse in Lancashire with its source on Crag Hill in Cumbria between Leck Fell and Casterton Fell. For several kilometres near the start of its course, the water flows into the Easegill Cave System, the longest cave system in Britain (and 11th longest in the world) via 14 major sink holes to converge at a major spring at Leck Beck Head.

It is an active Anglican parish church in the united benefice of East Lonsdale, in the deanery of Tunstall, the archdeaconry of Lancaster and the diocese of Blackburn. The benefice of East Lonsdale combines this church with St Peter, Leck, St Wilfrid, Melling, St James the Less, Tatham, The Good Shepherd, Lowgill, and Holy Trinity, Wray.
Tunstall, Lancashire
Tunstall is a village in north Lancashire, England. It is 11.1 miles northeast of Lancaster on the A683 road between Lancaster and Kirkby Lonsdale. In the 2001 census the civil parish of Tunstall had a population of 105. To the north east of the village is the Grade I listed Church of St John the Baptist. Several houses, a restaurant, a village hall, and a tennis court make up most of the village of Tunstall.
Nether Burrow
Nether Burrow is a small hamlet in the Lunesdale Valley of North Lancashire. It is a small drive through settlement on the banks of the picturesque River Lune. There is not much there but there is a pub called the Highwayman Inn. It is on the A683 road between Lancaster and Kirkby Lonsdale. It forms part of the civil parish with the unusual name of Burrow-with-Burrow.

St Michael's Church, Whittington, is located in the settlement of Whittington, Lancashire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Tunstall, the archdeaconry of Lancaster and the diocese of Blackburn. Its benefice is united with those of St John the Evangelist, Gressingham, St Margaret, Hornby, and St John the Baptist, Arkholme. The church has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade II* listed building.
Burrow Hall
Burrow Hall is a large 18th century country house in Burrow-with-Burrow, Lancashire, UK which lies in the Lune valley on the A683 some 2 km south of Kirby Lonsdale. The house is built of sandstone ashlar with a slate roof. The south facing facade is composed of 7 bays, 3 of which project under a pediment. The east facing facade has 10 bays. The hall is Grade I listed and the stable block to the rear listed Grade II*.
