Salwick
Salwick is a village between Kirkham and Preston in Lancashire, England. The village is largely rural and is an extension of the smaller Clifton to the south. It is in the borough of Fylde, and in the Parliamentary Constituency of Fylde, and forms part of the civil parish of Newton with Clifton. It is at grid reference SD466320, and is served by Salwick railway station. The area of "Clifton With Salwick" was in the Archdeaconry of Richmond in the Diocese of Chester.
Larches, Preston
Larches is one of the districts of Preston, Lancashire, England. The area, north-west of Preston city centre, is a mix of social and private housing, although both components of the ward – Larches, and Savick – are largely post-war council estates. Ashton Park is in the middle of the current ward, which borders Riversway and the civil parish of Lea. The area of Larches is part of Ashton-on-Ribble, which was part of the former hundred of Amounderness.

River Ribble, West Yorkshire
The River Ribble is a minor river running through the town of Holmfirth in Kirklees, West Yorkshire, England. Rising at the outflow of Holme Styes Reservoir, itself fed by Reynard Clough (which has a tributary, Catholes Gutter), Hades Clough and Long Ing Dike, the Ribble flows northwards, collecting Fox Clough and Beaver Clough from the west, before joining the River Holme by Towngate and Hollowgate in Holmfirth.
