West Lancashire Light Railway
The West Lancashire Light Railway operates at Hesketh Bank, situated between Preston and Southport in North West England. The Railway is narrow gauge 24 and has a running length of 430 yards . The full line is longer than this however it follows a ledge above the old clay pit which is narrow enough to prohibit the building of a run round loop. An extension is planned.

St Mary's Church, Tarleton, is a redundant Anglican church which stands on the A59 road as it passes to the south of the village of Tarleton, Lancashire, England. It has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade II* listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. It is described by the Churches Conservation Trust as a "picturesque early Georgian chapel" with "a lovely unspoiled interior".

Becconsall Old Church is a redundant church in the village of Hesketh Bank, Lancashire, England. It has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade II listed building, and is in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. It is situated on a lane leading to a boatyard on the River Douglas.
Holy Trinity Church, Tarleton
Holy Trinity Church, Tarleton is an Anglican church which stands in the village of Tarleton, Lancashire, England. The church was built in 1886 to replace the old St Mary's Church on the edge of the village, which was no longer big enough for the local population to attend. The cost to build Holy Trinity was £6,138. The steeple and bells cost £2,600. The repair of the steeple in 1968 cost £3,500. The churchyard contains the war graves of four soldiers of World War I and an airman of World War II.
