Lancaster University
Lancaster University, officially The University of Lancaster, is a research-intensive British university in Lancaster, Lancashire, England. The university was established by Royal Charter in 1964 and initially based in St Leonard's Gate until moving to a purpose-built 300 acre campus at Bailrigg in 1968. Lancaster expanded rapidly and now has the 11th highest research quality in the UK and is the 16th highest ranking research institution according to the latest Research Assessment Exercise.
Ruskin Library
The Ruskin Library is a library of the University of Lancaster which houses the Whitehouse Collection of material relating to the English poet, author and artist John Ruskin and his circle. This collection was formed by John Howard Whitehouse, Liberal Member of Parliament. Designed by Sir Richard MacCormac of MacCormac Jamieson Prichard, it was opened in 1998 by HRH Princess Alexandra, The Hon Lady Ogilvy.

Bowland College
Bowland College is the oldest and, traditionally, smallest constituent college of Lancaster University. It celebrated its 40th anniversary in November 2004. The College was named after the Forest of Bowland, to the east of Lancaster. Members of the College are informally referred to as Bowlanders.

The County College, mostly known as County College, is a constituent college of the University of Lancaster. Lancaster Environment Centre
The Lancaster Environment Centre (LEC) in Lancaster, England, is a new centre for teaching, research and collaboration at Lancaster University. The building is a joint investment by NERC / CEH and Lancaster University, currently totalling £20M. The project combines CEH and Lancaster University laboratories, developed partly by a new extension to Lancaster University’s Biological and Environmental Sciences building and partly by extensive refurbishment of areas of the existing laboratories.
St John's Church, Ellel
St John's Church, Ellel, is located in Church Lane, Ellel, Lancashire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Lancaster and Morecambe, the archdeaconry of Lancaster, and the diocese of Blackburn. The church is designated by English Heritage as a Grade II listed building. The authors of the Buildings of England series describe the appearance of the church as being "decidedly monumental".
