Caphouse Colliery
Caphouse Colliery, originally known as Overton Colliery, was a coal mine in Overton, near Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England. It was situated on the Denby Grange estate owned by the Lister Kaye family, and was worked from the 18th century until 1985. It reopened as the Yorkshire Mining Museum in 1988, and is now the National Coal Mining Museum for England.

Overton is a small village in West Yorkshire, England, between Wakefield and Huddersfield. It lies about 5.5 miles south west of Wakefield, 4 miles south of Ossett, 1-mile west of Netherton and 4 miles south west of Horbury. The village was originally named "Over Shitlington", and was part of the parish of "Shitlington" but this was changed sometime after 1855, along with the name of the parish, which was changed to "Sitlington". Overton is also linked with Netherton.

The Dewsbury and Savile Ground was a cricket ground located in Savile Town, Dewsbury, England. It hosted 53 first class matches between 1867 and 1933. Thornhill Hall
Thornhill Hall are the ruins of a medieval Manor house on a moated island located in Rectory Park, Thornhill, West Yorkshire, England. They are grade II listed. and the moat and surrounding grounds is a scheduled monument. Excavations carried out between 1964 and 1972 proved that there had been two halls on the island, an earlier large thirteenth century building with clay bonded foundation walls, and a later c.1450 stone H plan building.
