Lawrence Batley Theatre
The Lawrence Batley Theatre is a theatre in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England which offers drama, music, dance and comedy. The theatre is named after Lawrence Batley, a local entrepreneur and philanthropist, who founded a nationwide cash and carry chain. The building was originally built in 1819 as a Methodist chapel. The chapel became a mission in 1906 until a decline in numbers saw the mission move out of the building in 1970.
British Rugby League Hall of Fame
The British Rugby League Hall of Fame was established by the Rugby Football League in 1988 to commemorate the greatest ever players in British rugby league. Players must have been retired for at least five years to be eligible; they must also have played at least ten years within the British game. Initially nine players were inducted when the Hall of Fame was opened; one more was announced in 1989.
Turnbridge
Turnbridge is the area to the east of Huddersfield town centre ring road in West Yorkshire, England. It forms a corridor along which passes St Andrews Road, (B6432), and the Huddersfield Broad Canal to Aspley, where the Broad Canal meets Huddersfield Narrow Canal in the Aspley Basin. There are places for a limited number of narrowboat moorings. Some have electric and fresh water services. The area is reputed to have gained its name from the 1865 built Turnbridge Lift Bridge over the canal.

Springwood is a district of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England. It is immediately to the west of Huddersfield town centre and stretches as far as the town's Greenhead Park. There is a large 800 space car park which is used by workers and shoppers to the town centre. It is a buffer between the Springwood's housing and the town centre.
Rugby League Heritage Centre
The Rugby League Heritage Centre is located in the basement of the George Hotel, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England. It is the UK’s only rugby league heritage museum and was the brainchild of BSkyB sports presenter and former Great Britain international Mike Stephenson. It was in the George Hotel, Huddersfield on August 29, 1895 that 21 northern clubs held a meeting and by a majority of 20 to 1 voted to secede from the Rugby Football Union to set up their own Northern Rugby Football Union.

George Hotel, Huddersfield
The George Hotel, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England, situated in the centre of the town, is a Grade II listed building famous as the birthplace of rugby league football in 1895. The 60 bed hotel was built in 1851 and closed in January 2013, with the receivers looking for a new buyer. The three-star rated George Hotel, which has an Italian façade, was designed by William Walker. The Victorian era hotel was built around 1851.
St. Thomas's Church, Huddersfield
St Thomas’s Church is a Church of England church in the Diocese of Wakefield. It is situated in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England and is a Grade II* listed building. The church was designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott and built between 1857 and 1859. It was consecrated in 1859 and will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2009.
Turnbridge Lift Bridge
The Turnbridge Lift Bridge (also colloquially known as a Locomotive lift bridge) is a lift bridge which spans the Huddersfield Broad Canal at Turnbridge, Kirklees, West Yorkshire, England. Officially known as Turnbridge, it is bridge number 17 on the Huddersfield Broad Canal. Located at Quay Street, off St Andrews road (approx 300 Yards from the town centre), it opened in 1865 and replaced an earlier swing bridge.

Huddersfield bus station serves the town of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England. The bus station was opened on Sunday 1 December 1974 and is owned and managed by the Metro (West Yorkshire PTE). The bus station is situated in Huddersfield town centre, underneath the Multi-storey car park. It is bordered by the Ring Road and can be accessed from High Street, Upperhead Row and Henry Street. There are 25 pick-up and three alighting only stands at the bus station.
