Brading Down
Brading Down is a chalk down southwest of Brading, Isle of Wight. It is a prominent hill which overlooks Sandown Bay, with spectacular views across the bay towards Shanklin, and Culver Down. Parts of the down are private, including an area used as a covered reservoir, and some for agriculture. But much of the down, some 35 hectares, is open to the public and is owned by the Isle of Wight Council.
Nunwell
Nunwell is the location of Nunwell House, near Brading on the Isle of Wight, which was the home of the Oglander family for many centuries. The present family are not direct descendants through the male line and thus the baronetcy has died out. The Nunwell Estate was owned by Tostig Godwinsson prior to the Norman Conquest. The present house is largely Jacobean and was sold off briefly, with the Oglander family moving into the former coach house.
Brading Town F.C
Brading Town F.C. is an English football club based in Brading, Isle of Wight. The club were until June 2012 members of the Wessex League Division One and play at the Peter Henry Ground.
Yarbridge
Yarbridge is a hamlet on the Isle of Wight. It is at the southern tip of the parish of Brading. It has a pub called the Yarbridge Inn (formerly the Anglers Inn) which has a railway theme. There is also a small hotel, Oaklands House. The bridge over the River Yar, defended by a Second World War pillbox, was constructed in the Middle Ages by Sir Theobald Russell who was killed fighting a French invasion, dying of his wounds at Knighton Gorges.
Yaverland
Yaverland is a village on the Isle of Wight, just north of Sandown. It has about 200 houses. About 1/3 of a mile away from the village is the Yaverland Manor and Church. Holotype fossils have been discovered here of Yaverlandia and a pterosaur, Caulkicephalus. The White Air extreme sports festival was held annually at Yaverland pay and display car park between 1997 and 2008, but moved to Brighton for 2009. The older part of the village is spread along the road to Bembridge by the Norman Church.

Brading Roman Villa was a Roman courtyard villa which has been excavated and put on public display in Brading on the Isle of Wight.
Morton, Isle of Wight
Morton is the area of Brading to the south where Morton Marshes and the River Yar separate Brading from the extension of housing estates from the larger town of Sandown. It is distinguished by the hawthorn hedges which bloom with white flowers and are said to signify an unseasonal cold spell, termed a "Blackthorn Winter" in local weather lore.

Morton Manor
Morton Manor (also La Morton or Mourton in the 13th century) is a manor house originating in the 13th century, in Brading, Isle of Wight, England. It is located 1 mile southwest of Sandown Road. The 14th century fairly small house was modified in the 19th century. Constructed of varied materials, it was refurbished and extended in the early 20th century in an Arts and Crafts style. A Tudor fireplace is in the dining room, with William De Morgan green glazed tiles.
Nunwell House
Nunwell House, also Nunwell Manor (also Nonoelle, 11th century; Nunewille, 12th century; Nunnewelle, 13th century), is a historic English country house in Brading, Isle of Wight. Located 3 miles south of Ryde, the Tudor and Jacobean style house also has later additions. The house contains family militaria. It was occupied by the Oglander family from Norman times until 1980. Nunwell House is a Grade II listed building. Nunwell House is situated to the northwest of Brading.
