Tring railway station
Tring railway station is 1.5 miles outside the small town of Tring, close to the Grand Union Canal and actually nearer the village of Aldbury in Hertfordshire, England. The former Royal Station Hotel and Restaurant has been converted into residential accommodation and beyond that is a small collection of houses, some modern, including a terrace of former LNWR railway cottages.
Stocks House
Stocks manor house is a large Georgian mansion, built in 1773. It is the largest property in the village of Aldbury, Hertfordshire. Stocks House and its manorial farm is an 182-acre estate surrounded by 10,000 acres of National Trust Ashridge Forest and the Chiltern Hills. It takes its name from the old famous stocks of the medieval village of Aldbury just down the road.
Aldbury Nowers
Aldbury Nowers is a 19.7 hectare (48.7 acre) Biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Dacorum, in west Hertfordshire. The site was notified in 1990 under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The site, formerly known as "Duchie's Piece," comprises two areas of hillside, linked by The Ridgeway. The site hosts the flowers of chalk grassland and has butterfly habitats with several different species of butterfly including the Hamearis lucina, Theclinae and the Essex Skipper.
Northchurch
Northchurch is a village and civil parish in the Bulbourne valley in Hertfordshire lying between Berkhamsted and Tring. Situated on the Roman road Akeman Street, a major Roman villa dating from about AD 60 was discovered in the village in the 1970s. The settlement predates the neighbouring larger town of Berkhamsted .

Ashridge Golf Club
Ashridge Golf Club, also Ashridge Artisans Golf Club, is a golf club in Little Gaddesden, on the border of Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, England, 2.5 miles south along the B4506 road from Dagnall, Buckinghamshire, and five miles northwest of Berkhamsted. It was established in 1932 on the Ashridge Estate. The club has hosted the numerous PGA events and hosted the Open Championship' Regional Qualifying Competition for six years between 2003 and 2008.
