Kempley
Kempley is a village in the Forest of Dean district of Gloucestershire, England, close to the border with Herefordshire. It lies 12 miles northwest of Gloucester and is 5 and 8 miles respectively from the market towns of Newent and Ledbury. The small village (230 residents) has two notable churches, one dedicated to St Mary and another to St Edward the Confessor.

It is on the north bank of the River Frome. It comprises a series of farms, houses, and a Medieval church dating to c. 1200. Most of the current property dates from the Victorian era; however, the manor house at Hillend is c. 1600, and various barn buildings are of a similar age.

Ballingham

The Parish Church in Whitchurch, also in Herefordshire, between Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth also carries his name. The church was refurbished in the late Victorian era, but the 14th century roof was kept.

Brockhampton-by-Ross
Brockhampton is a village and civil parish in Herefordshire, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 241. The village is near the River Wye and lies between Hereford and Ross-on-Wye, and close to Ledbury. The Wye Valley Walk passes through Brockhampton. The village forms part of the Old Gore ward of Herefordshire Council (and prior to 2003 was in the Backbury ward). Prior to 1998 it had been part of the district of South Herefordshire in Hereford and Worcester.

Stoke Edith was the principal estate of Sir Henry Lingen, a Royalist officer in the English Civil War, who was buried in the church in 1662.

Ridge Hill transmitting station
The Ridge Hill transmitting station is a broadcasting and telecommunications facility located 8.5 miles SE of Hereford in Herefordshire, and close to the border of Gloucestershire. The station transmits the full complement of digital terrestrial multiplexes and an additional ITV West Multiplex. It includes a cable stayed steel lattice mast which has a height of 164.6 metres, which in addition to the altitude of the site gives an aerial height of 363 metres above mean sea level.

It featured in the British television series Survivors, in an episode titled "Gone Away" (1975). Court Farm is now a PGL activity holidays centre.

St Edward's was described by John Betjeman as "a mini-cathedral of the Arts and Crafts movement".
