Kington Town F.C. is an association football club based in Kington, Herefordshire, England. In the 1998–99 season, they reached the Second Round of the FA Vase. In the 2005–06 season, they were members of the West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division, however they resigned from this league at the end of the season to drop down to the more local Herefordshire Football League. They also play in the Herefordshire Senior Cup, which they won in 2003–04.
Rushock, Herefordshire
Rushock is a small village in Herefordshire, England. It lies about 1 mile north-east of Kington. Rushock was mentioned in the Domesday Book under the name of Ruiscop, when the place was said to be waste. It was later a hamlet in the parish of Kington, and since 1894 has been in the civil parish of Kington Rural. Rushock Hill rises to the north-west of the village. A well-preserved section of Offa's Dyke crosses the hill, which some scholars claim is the southern end of the dyke.

The first recorded match on the ground was in 1996, when Herefordshire played Wales Minor Counties in the grounds first Minor Counties Championship match. From 1996 to present, the ground has hosted 6 Minor Counties Championship matches and 3 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches. The ground also hosted a single List-A match in 1999, when Herefordshire played Yorkshire in the NatWest Trophy.

It is a naturally formed kettle lake which was enlarged into a reservoir by the construction of an earth embankment dam at its eastern end during the 18th century as part of the landscaping of the grounds of Eywood House Estate. The lake is one of the largest bodies of open water in the county of Herefordshire and an important wetland ornithological site.
