Diocese of Hereford
The Diocese of Hereford is a Church of England diocese based in Hereford, covering Herefordshire, southern Shropshire and a few parishes within Worcestershire in England; and a few parishes within Powys and Monmouthshire in Wales. The cathedral is Hereford Cathedral and the bishop is the Bishop of Hereford. The diocese is one of the oldest in England (created in 676) and is part of the Province of Canterbury.
Edgar Street
Edgar Street is a football stadium in Hereford and has been the home of Hereford United Football Club since 1924. It is the largest football stadium in the county of Herefordshire and is located on the edge of Hereford City Centre, adjacent to the cattle market. The name of the stadium directly derives from the name of the street where it is located, which is also the A49.
Hereford Castle
Hereford Castle was a castle in the cathedral city of Hereford, the county town of Herefordshire, England . Founded sometime before 1052, it was one of the earliest castles in England. Hereford Castle was probably destroyed when the Welsh sacked Hereford in 1055, but seems to have been replaced by the following decade. During the civil war of King Stephen's reign, the castle was besieged three times; the garrison surrendered each time and control of Hereford Castle changed hands.

The Courtyard Centre for the Arts is a theatre and arts venue in Hereford, England, located on Edgar Street just outside the city centre. The building was constructed between 1997 and 1998 on the site of another theatre; The New Hereford Theatre, a converted swimming baths which had become outdated. It hosts in-house shows, such as a Pantomime and productions by a Youth Theatre and a Community Company, alongside national tours.

Maylord Shopping Centre is a shopping centre in Hereford, England, jointly operated by Prudential and Herefordshire Council. Anchor stores include TK Maxx and Next, amongst its total of -1 shops. Development began in the mid-1980s with a partnership between Hereford City Council and Norwich Union Insurance to construct a £15m-20m shopping centre on the former site of a car park in the city's Blueschool Street.
Battle of Hereford
The Battle of Hereford was fought in 760 at Hereford. The conflict followed decades of hostility between the Welsh Kingdoms of Brycheiniog, Gwent and Powys by Æthelbald of Mercia and Coenred of Wessex, and involved the armies of Mercia and the Welsh. The Welsh were said to have defeated the Mercian army, and freed themselves from the influence of the Anglo-Saxons. Which Welsh kingdom led the offensive is uncertain.
