Grateley railway station
Grateley railway station is a railway station that serves the village of Grateley, Hampshire and the surrounding countryside. It is located in western portion of the village, near the hamlet of Palestine, and is just under a mile from the eastern part of the village. It is operated by South West Trains. The station opened on 1 May 1857. It was built ¾ mile from the original village after the local landowner objected to it being built any closer.

Thruxton Circuit is a motor racing circuit located near the village of Thruxton in Hampshire, England which is used to host a number of motorsport events including British Touring Cars and Formula 3 racing. Thruxton Circuit was originally constructed in 1940 as RAF Thruxton: a World War II airfield which was home to both the RAF and USAAF and was used during World War II for troop-carrying aircraft and gliders, including operations during the D-Day landings.

RAF Thruxton (Also known as Thruxton Airport) is a former World War II airfield in Hampshire, England. The airfield is located approximately 5 miles west of Andover; about 66 miles southwest of London Opened in 1942, it was used by both the Royal Air Force and United States Army Air Forces. During the war it was used primarily as a combat fighter airfield. After the war it was closed in 1946.
