Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames
The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames is a borough of southwest London, England. The main town is Kingston upon Thames and it includes Surbiton, Chessington, New Malden, Tolworth and part of Worcester Park. It is the oldest of the four Royal Boroughs in England. The others are Kensington and Chelsea and Greenwich also in London, and Windsor and Maidenhead. The local authority is Kingston upon Thames London Borough Council.

Radio Jackie is an Independent Local Radio station in England broadcasting news, classic hits, and local information to south west London, North Surrey and East Berkshire from its studios in Tolworth. The station began as a pirate station with a half hour slot on the Helen Network. When the station folded in 1969, however, Radio Jackie took over the broadcasting on the 1525 kHz frequency and soon became one of the most popular pirate stations in the country.

Berrylands is a residential neighbourhood in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. It is a suburban development situated 10.1 miles south west of Charing Cross. Nearby places include Surbiton, New Malden, Old Malden, Tolworth and Chessington . Berrylands railway station is 24 minutes from London Waterloo by train. Before 1965 Berrylands formed part of the Municipal Borough of Surbiton.

Municipal Borough of Surbiton
Surbiton was a local government district in north east Surrey, United Kingdom from 1855 to 1965. Until 1855 Surbiton was administered as part of the parish of Kingston upon Thames. In that year a body of improvement commissioners was formed by a local act of parliament to govern the area. The Local Government Act 1894 reconstituted the Improvement Commissioners District as an urban district, and Surbiton Urban District Council was formed to replace the commissioners.
Surbiton Lagoon
Surbiton Lagoon is a defunct and demolished open air swimming pool that was located in Berrylands, in London, United Kingdom. It opened in May 1934 though had been open for business since April, and was situated in Raeburn Avenue in what was then the Surbiton Urban District of Surrey. It was situated on the 418 bus route of London Country Buses, and near to Berrylands railway station. The lagoon complex was designed by the architect HT Mather.

The Institute was formed in April 1986 mainly to serve the linguistic, cultural and social needs of the Tamil community in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and its neighbourhood. The main aim was to teach language and culture to the children who are born here to enable them to learn and preserve the rich heritage of Tamils.
Decca Sports Ground
Decca Sports Ground is a cricket ground in Tolworth, London. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1973, when Surrey played Northamptonshire in a List-A match in the 1973 John Player League. This was the only time Surrey have played at the ground. The ground is today used by the Decca Sports and Social Club.
