London Stock Exchange
The London Stock Exchange is a stock exchange located in the City of London in the United Kingdom. As of December 2011, the Exchange had a market capitalisation of US$3.266 trillion, making it the third-largest stock exchange in the world by this measurement (and the largest in Europe). The Exchange was founded in 1801 and its current premises are situated in Paternoster Square close to St Paul's Cathedral in the City of London. The Exchange is part of the London Stock Exchange Group.

Paternoster Square is an urban development, owned by the Mitsubishi Estate Co. , next to St Paul's Cathedral in the City of London, England. In 1942 the area, which takes its name from Paternoster Row, centre of the London publishing trade, was devastated by aerial bombardment in The Blitz during World War II.

The Minor Canons of St Paul's Cathedral, London, whose origins predate the Norman conquest of England, unusually were independent of the senior canons and, as priests, of higher status than the lay vicars choral. Medieval Hereford furnishes the only other example of such a structure. The College of Minor Canons of St Paul's Cathedral still exists today, as do two historic positions styled Senior Cardinal and Junior Cardinal.

Old St Paul's Cathedral
Old St Paul's Cathedral was the medieval cathedral of the City of London that, until 1666, stood on the site of the present St Paul's Cathedral. Built in 1087–1314 and dedicated to Saint Paul, the cathedral was the fourth church on the site at Ludgate Hill. Work began during the reign of William the Conqueror after a fire in 1087 that destroyed much of the city. Work took more than 200 years, and construction was delayed by another fire in 1135.

Paul's walk
Paul's walk in Elizabethan and early Stuart London was the middle aisle of Old St Paul's Cathedral, where people walked up and down in search of the latest news. At the time, St. Paul's was the centre of the London grapevine. "News-mongers", as they were called, gathered there to pass on the latest news and gossip. Those who visited the cathedral to keep up with the news were known as "Paul's-walkers".

BT Centre
BT Centre is the global headquarters and registered office of BT Group, located in a 10-storey office building at 81 Newgate Street, London EC1A 7AJ, opposite St. Paul's tube station. It should not be confused with the much more prominent BT Tower. A plaque on the outside of the building marks this as the location from which Guglielmo Marconi made the first public transmission of wireless signals, in 1897 whilst it was the Telegraph Office building of the General Post Office complex.
St Nicholas Shambles
St Nicholas Shambles was a mediaeval church in the City of London. It was on the corner of Butcher Hall Lane (now King Edward St) and Newgate St. It took its name from the Shambles, the butchers area in the west of Newgate St. The site was extensively excavated in 1975–9 in preparation for the GPO headquarters, now the BT Centre, the headquarters of BT Group. The church is first mentioned as St. Nicholas de Westrnacekaria.
