River Quaggy
The River Quaggy (often the Quaggy River or simply Quaggy) is a river, 17 km in length, passing through the south-east London boroughs of Bromley, Greenwich and Lewisham; in its lower reaches it is an urban river, in its upper reaches further from London it is more natural and known as the Kyd Brook. The river rises from two sources near Farnborough Hospital at Locksbottom and is a tributary of the River Ravensbourne which it flows into near Lewisham station in Lewisham.

South East London Green Chain
The South East London Green Chain, also known as the Green Chain Walk is a linked system of open spaces between the River Thames and Crystal Palace Park in London, England. In 1977 four London Boroughs and the Greater London Council created this Green Chain of 300 open spaces to protect them from building activity. The four London boroughs are Bexley, Bromley, Lewisham and Greenwich. Many parts of the system are also part of the Capital Ring route.
Hither Green rail crash
The Hither Green rail crash was a train derailment that occurred near Hither Green maintenance depot, between Hither Green and Grove Park railway stations at 21:16 on 5 November 1967. It was a busy Sunday evening service from Hastings to London Charing Cross and there were passengers standing on the train. Of the twelve coaches, eleven were derailed and four turned onto their sides resulting in 49 fatalities and 78 people injured. The derailment was found to be due to a broken rail.
Grove Park Depot and Sidings
Grove Park Traincare Depot and Sidings is a railway depot in Lewisham, South East London. A sub-depot to Slade Green, the depot is situated approximately halfway between Hither Green Station and Grove Park station. It consists of two sets of sidings, one on either side of the Main line which are linked by a pedestrian overbridge. On the Down side are Bramdean sidings and the large carriage shed, whilst on the Up side are St Mildreds sidings and the Grove Park Safety Training Depot.

Hither Green (London) Traction Maintenance Depot or Hither Green (London) TMD is a rail depot used for the maintenance and servicing of freight trains. It is a hub for moving freight around southeast England. Hither Green TMD is owned and operated by DBS. The official depot code is HG. In steam days the shed code was 73C.
A2212 road
The A2212 road is a 4-digit, non-primary A road in southeast London, England; it is 5.7 km long and runs in a north to south direction from Lee Green, to Bromley passing through Grove Park, Downham, Plaistow and Sundridge. Bromley is the only one of these places which is a primary destination. The road begins at Lee Green cross roads coming off the A20 road, ends in Bromley joining the A21 road, and is crossed by the A205 road about 1.2 km south of Lee Green.
Christ the King Sixth Form College
Christ the King Sixth Form College (CTK) is a sixth form college based over three sites in the South London borough of Lewisham. Founded in 1992 by the Catholic Church on a site site owned by the Diocese of Southwark, it welcomes students from all religions and backgrounds. The college regards itself as a free-standing institution responsible for its own affairs. The college is run by its Principal and senior staff, whose appointment is one of the tasks of the overall governing body.
John Ball Primary School
John Ball Primary School is a state primary school in Blackheath in the borough of Lewisham, London, England. It is named after the 14th century Lollard priest, John Ball, who preached to participants in the Peasants' Revolt on Blackheath. The school has approximately 450 pupils aged 3–11 on its roll. The main building was opened in 1953, and a purpose-built Early Years Unit was added in early 2001. In 2010 a new Music block was opened, and a new Year 6 block opened in 2011.
The Conservatoire
The Conservatoire (formally The Blackheath Conservatoire of Music and the Arts) is an educational charity in Blackheath, on the border of the London boroughs of Greenwich and Lewisham. The Conservatoire of Music and the Arts took on its current structure in 1991 with the merger of the Blackheath Conservatoire of Music and the Blackheath School of Art, which until that point had operated separately on the adjoining sites, but under the same board.
Sandhurst Road School Disaster
The Sandhurst Road School Disaster occurred at a school on Minard Road in Catford, south east London on Wednesday, 20 January, 1943, when a German fighter-bomber dropped a 500 kg (1,102 lb) bomb on the school at 12.30 pm. The resulting explosion killed 32 children and six staff with 60 others injured, many buried for hours under the rubble. A further six children died in hospital.
St Margaret's, Lee
The parish church of St Margaret of Antioch, Lee, was built between 1839 and 1841 in a simple early Victorian style (to a design by Norwich architect John Brown), replacing an older mediaeval church dating to around 1120. It is Anglican and is located on the south side of Lee Terrace/Belmont Hill, in Lee Green, south-east London. Extensive and lavish interior decoration was carried out between 1875 and 1900.
