Old Kent Road
The Old Kent Road is a road in South East London, England and forms part of Watling Street, the Roman road which ran from Dover to Holyhead. The street is famous as the equal cheapest property on the London Monopoly board and as the only one in South London.
Spa Road railway station
Spa Road railway station in Bermondsey, south-east London, was the original terminus of the capital's first railway, the London and Greenwich Railway (L&GR). It was also the first railway terminus in London. First opened in 1836, the station went through several changes of ownership, was rebuilt several times, changed its name and was relocated a couple of hundred yards away from its original site before it finally closed in 1915 due to cost-saving measures during the First World War.
Canada Water
Canada Water is a freshwater lake and wildlife refuge in Rotherhithe in the Docklands in south-east London. Canada Water tube, Overground and bus station is named after the lake, and lies immediately to the north, while Surrey Quays Shopping Centre is also adjacent, sitting immediately to the south. The surrounding area, which forms the town centre of Rotherhithe, is now increasingly known as Canada Water, after the transport interchange as much as the lake itself.
The Den
The Den (previously called The New Den) is a football stadium and the home of Millwall Football Club. It is situated in South Bermondsey, South East London, almost directly adjacent to the railway line between London Bridge and New Cross Gate, and the SELCHP incinerator. It is under a quarter of a mile away from the original Den.
The Den (defunct stadium)
The Den was the fifth football stadium occupied by Millwall F.C. in Cold Blow Lane, New Cross, London since their formation in Millwall on the Isle of Dogs in 1885 before moving to The New Den, in May 1993. The ground opened in 1910 and was the home of Millwall for 83 years. It boasted a record attendance of 48,672 (v Derby County in 1937).

Livesey Museum for Children
The Livesey Museum for Children was in the Old Kent Road, within the London Borough of Southwark, London, England. The Livesey Museum was one of very few children's museums in the United Kingdom, which used to show a completely new hands-on exhibition every year. Each exhibition was suitable for all children under 12, and admission was free. It was hosted in a former public library on Old Kent Road in Southwark and was funded by Southwark Council.

The area is served by South Bermondsey railway station, with a possible future station at Surrey Canal Road. Nearby neighbourhoods include New Cross, Bermondsey, Peckham and Rotherhithe.

Bermondsey (parish)
Bermondsey (also known as St. Mary Magdalen, Bermondsey) was a parish in the metropolitan area of London, England. The ancient parish was part of Hundred of Brixton and County of Surrey. In 1855, it was included in the area of responsibility of the Metropolitan Board of Works (MBW). The act, establishing the MBW, also incorporated a new elected local authority for the parish known as The Vestry of the Parish of Bermondsey in the County of Surrey.
Southwark Park
Southwark Park is located in Rotherhithe, in central South East London, and is managed by the London Borough of Southwark. It first opened in 1869 by the Metropolitan Board of Works as one of its first parks. It was designed by Alexander McKenzie and covers 63 acres . http://www. southwark. gov. uk/YourServices/ParksSection/AZParks/southwarkparkhistory. html It received £2.5 million from the National Lottery's Heritage Lottery Fund in 1998 which enabled large parts of the park to be refurbished.
New Cross Stadium
New Cross Stadium, Hornshay Street, Old Kent Road, in South East London was opened in the early 1900s as an athletic stadium but was mainly used for greyhound racing and speedway. The ground was adjacent to The Den, the then home of Millwall F.C. and was used as a training ground by the club when they did not have facilities of their own. The track was often referred to as 'The Frying Pan'. It was built inside the greyhound track and had banking all the way round.
The Blue
The Blue is a central market place in Bermondsey an area in London. The market is open Monday to Saturday from 9am until 5pm and has about 10 stall holders, selling food and clothes. The area has been known as The Blue for more than two hundred and thirty years and is probably named after the Blue Anchor public house that gave its name to Blue Anchor Lane. Immediately north of Blue Anchor Lane on an arched viaduct are the multiple railway tracks of the Brighton and South East Main Lines.
Old Kent Road railway station
Old Kent Road railway station was a station in South London. It opened on 13 July 1866 on a viaduct and bridge crossing the road at a junction with a line to London Bridge and what became Surrey Quays tube station on the East London Line and Queen's Road Peckham railway station on the Inner South London Line. It was later renamed "Old Kent Road and Hatcham". It was operated by the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway. It closed on 1 January 1917.
Southwark Park railway station
Southwark Park railway station was in southeast London on the Greenwich Line between Spa Road and Deptford. It was opened by the South Eastern and Chatham Railway on 1 October 1902, on approximately the same site as the then long-closed Commercial Dock railway station. It was close to the southern end of Southwark Park, from which it took its name. South Bermondsey on the Inner South London Line is nearby.

Canada Water bus station
Canada Water bus station serves the Surrey Quays area of the London Borough of Southwark, London, England. The station is owned and maintained by Transport for London. The bus station is easily accessed by escalator from Canada Water Station below. It is also very near to the Surrey Quays Shopping Centre. The bus station was opened in 1999 at the same time as the Jubilee Line extension to Stratford reached Canada Water. The glass-roofed bus station was designed by Eva Jiřičná.
Bermondsey Settlement
The Bermondsey Settlement was a settlement house founded in Bermondsey, East London, by the Rev'd John Scott Lidgett. It was the only Methodist foundation among the settlements that appeared in the late 19th and early 20th century. Like other settlement houses it offered social, health and educational services to the poor of its neighbourhood. It was particularly concerned with educational matters (Lidgett was a prominent educationist) including music and dance.
Commercial Dock railway station
Commercial Dock railway station was in Rotherhithe on the Greenwich Line of the South Eastern Railway, on approximately the same site as the later Southwark Park railway station. It was opened in 1856 and closed in 1867, though an alternative source quotes 1859 for the opening date. No visible trace remains.
London Bridge – Greenwich Railway Viaduct
The London Bridge – Greenwich Railway Viaduct consists of a series of nineteen brick railway viaducts linked by road bridges between London Bridge railway station and Deptford Creek, which together make a single structure 3.45 miles in length. The structure carries the former London and Greenwich Railway line and consists of 851 semi-circular arches and 27 skew arches or road bridges.

Auto Italia South East
Auto Italia South East is an non-profit Artist-run space, founded in 2007 and co-run by Kate Cooper, Amanda Dennis and Richard John Jones. Currently located on the Old Kent Road Peckham, South London in a donated used car showroom, Auto Italia is both an artist-run project space and a site for exhibitions, events and collaboration. The organisation commissions and produces new work through collaboration with a growing group of artists.
The Bermondsey Lion
The Bermondsey Lion is a sculpture in The Blue, Bermondsey, London was created by Kevin Boys for Southwark Council. It was unveiled on 16 July 2011. The plaque on the plinth of the statue states: The Bermondsey Lion has been an enduring symbol of the area for centuries and initially represented the once powerful Bermondsey Abbey (hence the crozier placed in the front right paw).
