Lydney railway station is a railway station serving the town of Lydney in Gloucestershire, England. It is located on the Gloucester-Newport line. The station is located a mile south of Lydney, and was originally called Lydney Junction, which is now the name of the nearby station on the preserved Dean Forest Railway.

Norchard is a railway station on the Dean Forest Railway, near Lydney in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. Norchard is the main station of the Dean Forest Railway. Complete with sidings and a shed, it is the engineering base of the railway. Also to be found at this station is the Plate-Layers Buffet, the gift shop, museum, toilets, the main ticket office and a large free car park.

Lydney was a rural district in Gloucestershire, England from 1894 to 1974. It covered an area on the Welsh border by the Severn estuary. It was formed under the Local Government Act 1894 from that part of the Chepstow rural sanitary district which was in Gloucestershire (and England), the rest forming Chepstow Rural District in Monmouthshire. Lydney Town A.F.C. are a football club based in Lydney, Gloucestershire, England. They joined the Hellenic League Division One in 1980 but left the league in 1984. In the 2005–06 season, they won the Gloucestershire County League title, earning promotion back into the Hellenic League Division One West for the 2006–07 season. They are currently member of the Hellenic League Division One West after demotion from the Premier Division. The club is affiliated to the Gloucestershire County FA.
Lydney Canal
|} This one-mile canal in Gloucestershire runs inland from the River Severn to Lydney. It was opened in 1813 to trans-ship iron and coal from the Forest of Dean. It was once connected by a horse drawn tramroad to the Pidcock's Canal which brought materials down to the wharves by tub-boat. In the 1960s imported wood was still being brought in by barge from Avonmouth. It remained in commercial use until the 1980s.
Tufts Junction
Tufts Junction was a junction on the Severn and Wye Railway between Lydney Town and Whitecroft. The junction is now on the Dean Forest Railway between Norchard and Whitecroft.

Recreational Trust Ground is a cricket ground in Lydney, Gloucestershire. The first first-class match on the ground was in 1962, when the Gloucestershire Second XI played the Glamorgan Second XI in the Second XI Championship. In 1963, Gloucestershire played Surrey in the grounds first first-class match.
