Robinswood Hill is a hill and country park to the south of the city centre of Gloucester, close to the Stroud Road (A4173). It was originally one of the main sources of water to the city. The springs rising on Robin's Wood Hill were used by Gloucester Abbey in the 13th century.

The A4173 is a road in the English county of Gloucestershire. It runs from the A46 just north of the town of Stroud to the A38 around 2 miles south-east of Gloucester city centre. It passes through Pitchcombe, Brookthorpe and Edge. The road passes over the hills between Gloucester and the Five Valleys, and has excellent views from several points along its length.

The first recorded match on the ground was in 1923, when Gloucestershire played Lancashire in the grounds first first-class match. Gloucestershire played first-class matches at the ground from 1923 to 1992, playing a total of 155 first-class matches there, the last of which saw them play Somerset in the 1992 County Championship.

St Swithun's Church, Brookthorpe, is a redundant Anglican church in the village of Brookthorpe, Gloucestershire, England. It is designated by English Heritage as a Grade II* listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust.
White City, Gloucester
White City is an estate in the City of Gloucester. It takes its name from the original white concrete houses. Following World War I, there was a national movement to improve working-class housing, and rehouse families living in city centre slums. Land nearby had already been used for model housing in 1914, forming Northfield Road and Northfield Square. In 1927, Gloucester Corporation compulsorily purchased Starveall Farm to build the new homes that became White City.
