Avening Valley
The Avening Valley is located in the South Cotswolds in England, running roughly east from Nailsworth. During the 17th century the cloth industry developed in the Avening Valley, with mills powered by the Avening Stream. One of the larger cloth mills was named the Holcombe Mill (an old "gig" mill), which was adapted in 1879 for manufacture of bedding.
Gatcombe Park
Gatcombe Park is the private country home of HRH The Princess Royal, situated in England between the Gloucestershire villages of Minchinhampton and Avening, five miles (8 km) south of Stroud and around six miles (10 km) north of Highgrove House, the country residence of HRH The Prince of Wales. The house and farming estate were bought by Queen Elizabeth II in 1976 for Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips at the price of £5 million.
Avening
Avening is a village and civil parish in the Cotswold district of Gloucestershire, England, about three miles north of Tetbury. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 1,094. The village has two pubs. Nearby is Gatcombe Park, the home of the Princess Royal.
Chavenage House
Chavenage House is an Elizabethan era manor house 2.4 kilometres northwest of Tetbury, in the Cotswolds area of Gloucestershire, England. It is constructed of Cotswold stone, with a Cotswold stone tiled roof. Particularly famous features of the house are Cromwell's Room, with history of the English Civil War, the Great Hall, featuring stained glass windows, the Ballroom, and the Oak Room, which features elaborate oak panels dating from 1590.
Tetbury Upton
Tetbury Upton is a small village Civil Parish in the Cotswolds area of Gloucestershire. Tetbury Upton is situated on the B4014 road 1.5 miles (2 km) northh of the town of Tetbury. The parish was established in 1894; and by 1901 Tetbury Upton's total population reached 905, but by 2001 the population had declined to 297. Upton House is a Neo-Classical country house built in 1752, whose design is usually attributed to William Halfpenny, of Bristol.
St Mary's Crossing Halt railway station
St Mary's Crossing Halt was opened on 12 October 1903 on what is now the Golden Valley Line between Kemble and Stroud. This line was opened in 1845 as the Cheltenham and Great Western Union Railway from Swindon to Gloucester and this was one of many small stations and halts built on this line for the local passenger service. This halt opened with the introduction of the GWR steam railmotor services between Stonehouse and Chalford.
St Saviour's Church, Tetbury
St Saviour's Church, Tetbury, is a redundant 19th-century Anglican church in the town of Tetbury, Gloucestershire, England. Designed by the local architect Samuel Daukes, assisted by A. W. N. Pugin and John Hardman, St Saviour's is designated by English Heritage as a Grade II* listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust.

St Mary of the Angels Church, Brownshill, is located to the south of the village of Brownshill in the parish of Chalford, Gloucestershire, England. It is a redundant Roman Catholic church vested in the Friends of Friendless Churches. The church has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade II listed building.
