Metropolitan Borough of Gateshead
The Metropolitan Borough of Gateshead is a metropolitan borough of Tyne and Wear, in North East England. It is named after its largest town, Gateshead, but also spans the towns of Rowlands Gill, Whickham, Blaydon and Ryton; suburban areas include Felling, Pelaw, Dunston and Low Fell. It is bordered by numerous local authorities including Newcastle upon Tyne to the north, Northumberland to the west, County Durham to the south, Sunderland to the south east, and South Tyneside to the east.
Gateshead International Stadium
Gateshead International Stadium is a multi-purpose, all-seater arena in Felling, Tyne and Wear, England. Originally known as the Gateshead Youth Stadium, the venue was built in 1955 at a cost of £30,000. It has since been extensively re-developed on three occasions. Its capacity of around 11,800 is the greatest in the Metropolitan Borough of Gateshead, the third-largest in Tyne and Wear and the sixth-largest in North East England. The main arena is principally used for athletics.

Trinity Square, Gateshead
Trinity Square was a shopping centre and multi-storey car park situated in Gateshead, North East England, demolished in 2010. It was particularly noted for the Brutalist design of its car park which was designed by Rodney Gordon when he worked for the Owen Luder Partnership. The concrete structure, which dominated the skyline of the town, was opened in 1967. The car park had a prominent role in the 1971 film Get Carter, so is commonly referred to informally as the Get Carter Car Park.

Gateshead Stadium Metro station is a station on the Tyne and Wear Metro, serving the town of Gateshead, England. It is named after the nearby Gateshead International Stadium. The station opened in 1981, as part of the third phase of the Metro system, which included the main underground sections through the centres of Newcastle upon Tyne and Gateshead. When the Metro system was first proposed this station was originally planned to be called Old Fold, after a neighbouring residential area.
Sunderland Talmudical College
The Sunderland Talmudical College, popularly known as Sunderland Yeshiva, was founded in the city of Sunderland in the United Kingdom during the 1940s. It re-located to Gateshead in June 1988, albeit keeping its original name. In its early years it catered for students from North Africa. The student body currently (2007) numbers 100. Students are mainly English; however, there are also students from France, Switzerland and Belgium.
Eastwood Gardens
Eastwood Gardens is a cricket ground in Gateshead, England which, like Feethams Cricket Ground, Grangefield Road, The Racecourse, Park Drive and Ropery Lane, was used by the Durham 1st XI between 1992 and 1994 prior to The Riverside Ground being built, since which it has not seen any 1st XI action. In 1992, the ground hosted two County Championship matches and one Sunday match, while in 1993 and 1994 the ground hosted one match in each of those two competitions.

Sheriff Hill Colliery
Sheriff Hill Colliery or Ellison Main Colliery was a coal mine at Gateshead Fell in County Durham, England. The colliery had two shafts and provided employment to the residents of Sheriff Hill, after it opened in 1793. There were many major accidents resulting in the deaths of workers at the colliery. There was a protracted strike at the colliery in 1834. The colliery closed in 1926.
St John's Church, Gateshead Fell
St John's Church, Gateshead Fell, is located in Church Road, Sheriff Hill, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Gateshead, the archdeaconry of Sunderland, and the diocese of Durham. The church has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade II listed building. It was a Commissioners' church, having received a grant towards its construction from the Church Building Commission. The church stands at the highest point in Gateshead.
