Little Hallingbury is a village located in Essex, UK. It is between river and forest, on a high rise of ground, near the main railway at Bishop's Stortford and the M11 motorway. It is located in the Uttlesford district of North West Essex. Little Hallingbury Mill http://www. littlehallingburymill. net is a converted mill which today is a small hotel. It was built as a silk mill in 1874 and there was milling on this site for many years before it was turned into a hotel complex.

The aircraft crashed into Hatfield Forest near the village of Great Hallingbury close to but clear of some local houses. All 4 crew on board were killed.
