Borley Rectory

Borley Rectory was a Victorian mansion which gained fame as "The Most Haunted House in England", before it was destroyed by fire in 1939. Located in the village of Borley, Essex, the big Gothic-style rectory had been the scene of occasional stories of hauntings ever since it was built.
