Stanmer House
Stanmer House is a Grade I listed mansion west of the village of Falmer and north-east of the city of Brighton and Hove. It stands very close to Stanmer village and Church, within the Stanmer Park. Constructed by the French architect Nicholas Dubois in 1722 in a Palladian style for the Pelham family, it incorporates the remains of an earlier house, and was again altered in 1860.
East Slope
East Slope is one of several accommodation blocks at the University of Sussex. East Slope was constructed in the early 1970s. It is located on the side of a hill near the back of the eastern side of the campus. A series of stone steps connect paths which run horizontally along the slope. East Slope has 100 terraced single-storey flats, housing 504 undergraduates and 68 postgraduates. Lower-numbered flats are generally towards the bottom of the hill.
Ditchling Beacon
summit towards the north-east]] Ditchling Beacon is the third-highest point on the South Downs in south-east England, behind Butser Hill (270 m; 886 ft) and Crown Tegleaze (253 m; 830 ft). It consists of a large chalk hill with a particularly steep northern face, covered with open grassland and sheep-grazing areas. Situated just south of the East Sussex village of Ditchling and to the north-east of the city of Brighton, it is the highest point in the county of East Sussex.
Stanmer Church
Stanmer Church is a former Anglican church in Stanmer village, on the northeastern edge of the English city of Brighton and Hove. The ancient village stands within Stanmer Park, the former private estate of the Earl of Chichester, which the Brighton Corporation (the predecessor of the present city council) acquired for the benefit of Brighton's citizens after the Second World War. The church and a stately home, Stanmer House, stand outside the village but within the park's boundaries.
Plumpton Place
Plumpton Place is a Grade 2 listed Elizabethan manor house in Plumpton, East Sussex, England. The house is on the English Heritage register. Plumpton Place looks onto the nearby north-facing escarpment of the South Downs, with Plumpton College (formerly Plumpton Agricultural College) and the 11th century church of St. Michael's and All Angels immediately adjacent to the west and Plumpton village some 500m to the east.

The college provides a range of full time and part time land-based courses, FE courses to Foundation Degree and BSc courses. St Cosmas and St Damian Church, Keymer
St Cosmas and St Damian Church is an Anglican church in the village of Keymer, in the Mid Sussex district of West Sussex, England. Rebuilt in 1866 in a style similar to the Saxon building it replaced, it is the parish church of Keymer and now lies within a combined parish serving three villages in Mid Sussex. The church bears a very rare dedication to the twin Saints Cosmas and Damian, Christian martyrs of the 4th century. It is a grade II listed building.
Ditchling Unitarian Chapel
Ditchling Unitarian Chapel (formerly Ditchling General Baptist Chapel, and also known as The Old Meeting House) is a Unitarian chapel in Ditchling, a village in the English county of East Sussex. A congregation of General Baptists began to meet in the 17th century in the village, which was a local centre for Protestant Nonconformist worship, and by the time the present simple Vernacular-style chapel was constructed in 1740 a large proportion of the population held Baptist beliefs.
