Wimborne Minster Tower Clock Mechanism
This shows a few 'ticks' of the Wimborne Minster Tower Clock. The works were built in the 1740's by William Monk. The 'face' of the clock is much older - it probably dates from the late 1300s.

East Dorset
East Dorset is a local government district in Dorset, England. Its council is based in Furzehill, near Wimborne Minster. The district was formed on 1 April 1974 by the merger of Wimborne Minster Urban District with part of the Ringwood and Fordingbridge Rural District and the Wimborne and Cranborne Rural District. The district was originally known as Wimborne, and adopted its present name in 1988.

Gussage is a series of three villages in north Dorset, England, situated along a tributary of the River Allen on Cranborne Chase, eight miles north east of Blandford Forum and 10 miles north of Wimborne. The stream runs through all three parishes: Gussage All Saints, population 192, Gussage St Michael, pop. 219 and Gussage St Andrew, population unknown, but smaller than the other two villages.

Crichel House
Crichel House is a Classical Revival country house in Britain, with an entrance designed by Thomas Hopper and interiors by James Wyatt. It is located near the village of Moor Crichel in Dorset, England. It is surrounded by 400 acres of parkland, which includes a crescent-shaped lake covering 50 acres . The original Tudor house, owned by the Napier family, was largely destroyed in an accidental fire in 1742.
