Church Ope Cove
Church Ope Cove is a small secluded beach on the sheltered eastern side of the Isle of Portland in Dorset, southern England. It is found close to the village of Wakeham. The beach has many unusual features for the Isle of Portland. The beach used to be sandy, but quarry debris now covers the sand, and has been worn into rounded pebbles. The pebbles cover a small stream which runs to the sea, which is one of the few streams on the Isle of Portland.
Easton (Portland) railway station
Easton railway station was the terminus of the Portland Branch Railway, which operated in the west of the English county of Dorset. Opened with the Easton and Church Hope Railway, one of the constituent parts of a complex line, on 1 September 1902, the line past Portland station was technically a separate railway, although the branch was operated as one line throughout. Easton was closed from 11 November 1940 to 1 January 1945 following air raid damage.
Rufus Castle
Rufus Castle, also known as Bow and Arrow Castle, is a ruined castle overlooking Church Ope Cove on Portland, England. The castle is a Grade I listed building, dating from the late 15th century, on the site of an earlier building - making it Portland's oldest castle. Remains include parts of the keep, outer bailey, sections of wall with gun ports and a 19th-century round-arched bridge across Church Ope Road.
Villages of Portland
The Isle of Portland, Dorset, contains eight settlements, the largest being Fortuneswell in Underhill and Easton in Tophill. Castletown and Chiswell are the other villages in Underhill, and Weston, Southwell, Wakeham and the Grove occupy Tophill.
Portland Museum, Dorset
Portland Museum is a local museum on the Isle of Portland, and part of the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, southern England. It is found at the southern end of the village of Wakeham, close to Church Ope Cove. The museum has limited opening times at Easter, and is open every day during the summer (May–September), before reducing to limited opening times until November, when the museum closes until the next Easter.

Pennsylvania Castle
Pennsylvania Castle is a Gothic Revival mansion on the Isle of Portland, Dorset, England. Located within Wakeham village, it is a Grade II listed building. The castle was formerly a hotel, was returned to use as a private residence at the end of the 20th century, and is now hired out for functions and events.
St Andrew's Church, Portland
St Andrews Church is a ruined church on the Isle of Portland, Dorset, England. The church is situated on the east side of the island, above the Church Ope Cove beach, near Wakeham village. It is found close to the ruins of Rufus Castle and the private Gothic Revival mansion Pennsylvania Castle. St. Andrews Church is Portland's oldest part-surviving building and has been a Grade II* Listed Building since 1951.
Portland Windmills
The Portland Windmills are two historic, presumed medieval, stone towers which were once windmills. The disused windmills are located nearby south of Easton village and the east of Weston village. Both towers are found within close proximity to one another, (135 metres), within an area of rolling fields and old quarries. The northern one is found at Cottonfields and the southern one at Top Growlands.
John Penn's Bath
John Penn's Bath is a large oval shaped bath, built for John Penn, the owner of Pennsylvania Castle, on the Isle of Portland, Dorset, England. It is located at the base of the cliff directly below Pennsylvania Castle, although it is not part of the property. The bath measures 9 feet long, by 4 feet deep and 4 feet high.
Avalanche Memorial Church
The Avalanche Memorial Church, also known as the Church of St Andrew, is a 19th century church, located in Southwell village, on the Isle of Portland, Dorset. It was built in 1879 and, along with its boundary wall, has been a Listed Grade II building since 1978.
Broadcroft Quarry
Broadcroft Quarry is a disused site of former stone quarries, now a butterfly nature reserve on the Isle of Portland, Dorset, England. It is located to the west of East Weares, where it lies directly to the east of the village Easton and close to The Grove village. It is a valued home for a number of butterfly species. Although part of the area is the nature reserve, the working area is one of the largest active quarries on Portland.
