Weymouth and Portland
Weymouth and Portland is a local government district and borough in Dorset, England. It consists of the resort of Weymouth and the Isle of Portland, and includes the areas of Wyke Regis, Preston, Melcombe Regis, Upwey, Broadwey, Southill, Nottington, Westham, Radipole, Chiswell, Castletown, Fortuneswell, Weston, Southwell and Easton; the latter six being on the Isle of Portland.
Portland Castle
Portland Castle is one of the Device Forts, also known as Henrician Castles, built in 1539 by Henry VIII on the Isle of Portland to guard the natural Portland anchorage known as the Portland Roads. The castle lies in the far north of the island, in the village now called Castletown, near Fortuneswell. The castle is under the care of English Heritage. The castle artillery forts stretched all around the Kent coast, along the south coast of England, down to Lands End.

Phoenix breakwaters
The Phoenix breakwaters were a set of reinforced concrete caissons built as part of the artificial Mulberry harbours that were assembled as part of the follow-up to the Normandy landings during World War II. They were constructed by civil engineering contractors around the coast of Britain. They were collected at Dungeness and Selsey, and then towed across the English Channel and sunk to form the Mulberry harbour breakwaters replacing the initial 'Gooseberry' block ships.

Portland (Dorset) railway station
Portland was a railway station on the Portland Branch Railway in the west of the English county of Dorset. Opened with the Weymouth and Portland railway, one of the constituent parts of a complex line, on 1 September 1902, the station was moved to a new site on the opening of the extension to Easton. After this the old station was used as a goods station and depot.
Royal Naval Cemetery
Royal Naval Cemetery (once known as Naval and Military Cemetery) is a cemetery on the Isle of Portland, Dorset, England. It is located above Portland Harbour and below the main entrance to the Verne Citadel. As the name suggests, the graveyard holds deceased servicemen and officer of the area's Royal Navy which was stationed at Portland until 1995.

Chiswell Walled Garden
Chiswell Walled Garden is a community walled garden, located on the Isle of Portland, Dorset, England. It is found in the village of Chiswell, close to Chesil Beach, within the remaining ruins of an old Jacobean house. The garden was made during the period 2001 to 2006 by the Chiswell Community Trust, with funding from Countryside Agency under their Doorstep Green Initiative. It is maintained by volunteer members of the Trust and is open to the public.
