Castleton, Dorset

Castleton is a civil parish in the English county of Dorset, lying within the West Dorset administrative district. The parish virtually encircles the town of Sherborne, and contains within its boundary both Sherborne Castle and Sherborne New Castle. These and other buildings remaining within the parish are today generally regarded as comprising part of Sherborne. Most of the houses in the parish, but not the church, were pulled down when the railway was built through the town.

Sherborne House, Dorset

Sherborne House is a large house in the market town of Sherborne, Dorset, England. Designed by Benjamin Bastard, the former country house that has been converted into a school and has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade 1 listed building. Sherborne House was a subject for the BBC's "Restoration" program, but failed to win its round. In September 2010 it was shrouded in scaffolding.

Sigwells
