Lulworth Cove

Lulworth Cove is a cove near the village of West Lulworth, on the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site in Dorset, southern England. The cove is one of the world's finest examples of such a landform, and is a tourist location with approximately 500,000 visitors a year, of whom about 30% visit in July and August. It is close to the rock arch of Durdle Door and other Jurassic Coast sites.

Wareham St. Martin

Wareham St. Martin is a civil parish in the English county of Dorset. The parish spreads across a large, and mostly rural area to the north of the town of Wareham including much of Wareham Forest. However the town of Wareham lies within its own civil parish, and the only significant settlement within Wareham St. Martin parish is the village of Sandford on the A351 road between Wareham and Poole. Mupe Bay is a bay with shingle beach to the east of Lulworth Cove in Dorset, England, and is part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. It exposes a sequence of Cretaceous rocks from the Bindon Hill Chalk in the north through the Wealden Beds to the Purbeck Beds in the south at Mupe Rocks. Mupe Bay is only accessible when the Lulworth Military Ranges are open to the public. It can be reached by a 2.5-kilometre walk from the car park at Lulworth Cove.

It has been known as both the Green Man and the Smugglers Inn at various points. It is currently named after the early 17th Century hunting lodge Lulworth Castle, situated in East Lulworth. Today the pub acts as a popular traditional pub and hotel, owned by the Halliday family for over 26 years as a freehold.

The Fossil Forest is the remains of an ancient forest from Jurassic times, located to the east of Lulworth Cove on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset, England. Parts of forest can also be seen on the Isle of Portland and in quarries near the town of Weymouth to the west.
