A390 road
The A390 is a road in Cornwall and Devon, England. It runs from Tavistock to 5 miles north west of the city of Truro. Starting in Tavistock, it heads south-westwards towards Liskeard, crossing over the River Tamar and into Cornwall, then through Gunnislake and Callington. Immediately before Liskeard, it merges with the A38 north of the town. It diverges from the A38 at Dobwalls, where it then runs in a south-westerly direction to Truro via Lostwithiel, St. Blazey, and St Austell.

South Devon and Tavistock Railway
The South Devon and Tavistock Railway was a broad-gauge railway linking Plymouth with Tavistock in Devon, England. It opened in 1859, was extended by the Launceston and South Devon Railway to Launceston, Cornwall, in 1865, and was closed in 1962. A short section of the line has since been reopened by the Plym Valley Railway.
Tavistock Abbey
Tavistock Abbey, also known as the Abbey of Saint Mary and Saint Rumon, is a ruined Benedictine abbey in Tavistock, Devon. Nothing remains of the abbey except the refectory, two gateways and a porch. The abbey church, dedicated to Our Lady and St Rumon, was destroyed by Danish raiders in 997 and rebuilt under Lyfing, the second abbot. The church was further rebuilt in 1285 and the greater part of the abbey between 1457 and 1458.
Whitchurch, Devon
Whitchurch is a village just to the south-east of the town of Tavistock, Devon, England. It lies in the West Devon local authority area, and within Tavistock Deanery for ecclesiastical purposes. Due to the expansion of Tavistock in recent years, the two settlements have joined and Whitchurch is now considered part of Tavistock, but historically, Whitchurch formed part of the Roborough Hundred.
Tavistock North railway station
Tavistock North was a railway station operated by the Plymouth, Devonport and South Western Junction Railway but formed part of the Exeter to Plymouth railway of the LSWR. serving the town of Tavistock. The station opened on 2 June 1890 and closed on 6 May 1968. The main station building has been completely restored by its current owners and converted in to 3 luxury self-catering cottages and has been awarded 5 stars by Visit Britain.
Tavistock College
Tavistock College is a mixed gender school in Tavistock, Devon, England, with students aged 11–18. There are (as of April 2010) approximately 1500 students attending, drawn from a catchment area of about 20 km radius. The college has links with Japan, Uganda, Spain and India, with staff exchanges and student visits and projects. Since 2006, the college has organised concerts locally under the name of ParkLife; a ParkLife festival was held in 2007 and 2008.
