River Tavy
The Tavy is a river on Dartmoor, Devon, England. The name derives from the Brythonic root "Taff", the original meaning of which has now been lost. It has given its name to the town of Tavistock and the villages of Mary Tavy and Peter Tavy. It is a tributary of the River Tamar and has as its own tributaries: Collybrooke River Burn River Wallabrooke River Lumburn River Walkham At Tavistock it feeds a canal running to Morwellham Quay.

Lopwell
Lopwell is a site of natural beauty situated at the upper tidal mark on the River Tavy, 3 miles from north Plymouth and 7 miles from Tavistock, Devon, England. Lopwell is a Local Nature Reserve consisting of several different habitats including mudflats, freshwater marsh, grassland, wildflower meadow, scrub-grassland and saltmarsh. The area forms part of the Tamar–Tavy Estuary Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and has a resident Grey seal. it is illegal to fish here
Morwellham Quay
Morwellham Quay is a historic river port in Devon, England that developed to support the local mines. The port had its peak in the Victorian era and is now run as a tourist attraction and museum. It is the terminus of the Tavistock Canal, and has its own copper mine. The open air museum includes the restored 19th century village, the docks and quays, a restored ship, the George and Charlotte copper mine which is toured by a small train, a Victorian farm and a nature reserve with trails.
New Quay (Devon)
New Quay is a small abandoned village on the banks of the river Tamar in Devon, the village is just downstream of the similar port of Morwellham Quay (now an open air museum). New Quay was formerly an important copper and arsenic port serving the local mines. Since July 2006 New Quay and the surrounding area have been protected under World Heritage Site status, as part of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape area.

Gulworthy is a civil parish in Devon, England that adjoins the border with Cornwall.
