Hummersknott
Hummersknott is an area in the western end of Darlington, County Durham which consists of mainly post-war houses, and is closely linked to the Mowden. The area of Hummersknott is generally regarded as the area around Hummersknott School and up to Carmel Road North. There is also a Victorian cemetery and a Catholic secondary school, Carmel RC College, which also has a sixth form.
A67 road
The A67 is a road in England that links Bowes in County Durham with Crathorne in North Yorkshire. The section from the A66 to Barnard Castle is primary status; from that point it turns right and loses the primary status to the A688 road. It regains the status as it goes concurrent with the A66 road.

The Blackwell Grange Golf Club
The Blackwell Grange Golf Club is a golf club situated in the Blackwell area of Darlington, County Durham, in the North East of England. It shares its name with the nearby Blackwell Grange Hotel, since many of the course holes lie square to the hotel. The club also includes a large clubhouse and a small golf shop. The course has a neighbouring course called Stressholme Golf Club.
West Park Hospital
West Park is a modern NHS adult mental health unit situated on the north-western outskirts of Darlington in the West Park development. It was built to replace the dated facilies at the now demolished Winterton Hospital and the Pierremont unit at Darlington Memorial Hospital. The hospital is part of the Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Trust which also manages St Luke's Hospital, Middlesbrough and Earls House Hospital, Durham.
Thornton Hall, High Coniscliffe
Thornton Hall is a privately owned 16th century manor house (now a farmhouse) at High Coniscliffe, near Darlington, County Durham. It is a Grade I listed building. The house was built in about 1550 for Ralph Talbois. The gabled central block of two storeys plus attics was originally flanked by gabled crosswings. The right wing remains. The left wing has been removed. A two storey entrance porch offcentre carries an embattled parapet. The last of the Talbois died in 1606.
Tees Cottage Pumping Station
Tees Cottage Pumping Station is a Victorian pumping station complex at Broken Scar on the A67 near Low Coniscliffe just west of Darlington. The site dates from 1849, and was built to provide drinking water for Darlington and the surrounding area.
