Long Marton railway station
Long Marton railway station was a railway station which served the village of Long Marton in Cumbria, England. Situated on the Settle-Carlisle Line, it was located 27+⁄4 miles south of Carlisle. Built by the Midland Railway, it was opened along with the line in 1876 and closed on 4 May 1970, when the local passenger service over the line was withdrawn. The station buildings were sold and converted into a private residence after closure and remain in use as such today.

St Margaret and St James' Church, Long Marton, is located about 0.5 miles to the south of the village of Long Marton, Cumbria, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Appleby, the archdeaconry of Carlisle, and the diocese of Carlisle. Its benefice is united with those of six local churches to form the benefice of Heart of Eden. The church has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade I listed building.
