Welcombe
Welcombe is a village and civil parish on the coast of North Devon, England, just north of the border with Cornwall. It is part of the District of Torridge. It is easily reached from the A39 and has a popular beach called Welcombe Mouth, which is a challenge to get to but worth it. Its parish church is one of only four ancient dedications to Saint Nectan. Welcombe comprises several smaller communities including Welcombe Cross, Darracot, Upcott and Mead.
Gooseham
Gooseham is a hamlet in northeast Cornwall, United Kingdom. It is situated six miles (11 km) north of Bude and is approximately one kilometre south of the border with Devon. The Marsland Valley nature reserve is near the hamlet. Gooseham lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Almost a third of Cornwall has AONB designation, with the same status and protection as a National Park.

St Nectan's Church, Welcombe
St Nectan's Church is the parish church of Welcombe, on the border of Devon and Cornwall. W. G. Hoskins writes "St Nectan's Chapel was one of the many medieval chapels in the vast parish of Hartland. It lies in unspoiled country, altogether Cornish in appearance and feeling, with views down the combes to the Atlantic. Welcombe was raised to parochial status in 1508, when the church was enlarged by the addition of the north and south transepts.
Marsland Valley
Marsland Valley is a nature reserve situated in two large valleys which straddle the Devon-Cornwall border. It is a designated nature reserve jointly managed by the Devon Wildlife Trust and the Cornwall Wildlife Trust. The reserve is a Special Area of Conservation, as well as forming part of two Sites of Special Scientific Interest; Steeple Point to Marsland Mouth on the Cornish side and Marsland to Clovelly Coast in Devon.
Meddon Green Local Nature Reserve
Meddon Green is a 1.7 hectare (ha) Local Nature Reserve, located at Meddon, near Bideford in Devon, consists of culm grassland surrounded by hazel coppice. The reserve is owned by Hartland Parish Council and was declared in 2007. The site contains many typical culm grassland plants including Southern Marsh Orchid and Greater Bird's-foot Trefoil. Volunteers have cleared much willow scrub from the site prior to getting the site fenced and grazed (planned for 2009).
Killarney Springs
Killarney Springs was a leisure park situated near Bude in Cornwall. The park was established in 1990, and opened for the 1991 summer season. The park had an indoor adventure play centre, a boating lake, a tobogganing slope, go karts, bumper boats and an assault course. In 2005, a new range of attractions were brought to the park with the 'Family Fun Fair', which featured a log flume, a rollercoaster and bumper cars.
Meddon Moor
Meddon Moor is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) in Cornwall, England. The moor is located in the very north-eastern corner of Cornwall, on the border with Devon, within the civil parish of Morwenstow. The Devon village of Meddon lies 500 metres to the north-east of the moor. The Meddon Moor SSSI is noted for its biodiversity, and sits on the Carboniferous Culm Measures of North Cornwall. It contains the largest single area of remaining Culm grassland in Cornwall.
