The church perches on the edge of a tidal creek beside the Carrick Roads on the Fal Estuary just outside the main village.

The King Harry Ferry Bridge is a vehicular chain ferry which crosses the Carrick Roads reach of the estuary of the River Fal in the English county of Cornwall.
