St Mawgan
St Mawgan in Pydar is a civil parish in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The village of St Mawgan is situated four miles northeast of Newquay. The nearby Royal Air Force station, RAF St. Mawgan, takes its name from the village and is next to Newquay Cornwall Airport. The River Menalhyl runs through St Mawgan village and the valley is known as The Vale of Lanherne. It was the subject of a poem by poet Henry Sewell Stokes.

St Columb Canal sometimes referred to as Edyvean's Canal, was an abortive canal scheme in Cornwall, England, designed for the carriage of sea sand for use as manure. It was authorised in 1773, and part of it may have been briefly used around 1780.
St Ervan
St Ervan is a rural civil parish and hamlet in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The hamlet is situated three miles (5 km) southwest of Padstow. Notable features in St Ervan are the Anglican church, the village hall and the Nonconformist cemetery, The parish church has a very unusual tower which was originally 50 feet high and was built in the 14th/15th centuries. The upper part was brought down by explosives in the 1880s, but it was not properly capped until 1956 and now stands 24 feet high.
RAF St Eval
Royal Air Force Station St Eval or more simply RAF St Eval was a strategic Royal Air Force station for the RAF Coastal Command during the Second World War (situated in Cornwall, England, UK). St Eval's primary role was to provided anti-submarine and anti-shipping patrols off the south west coast. Aircraft from the base were also used for photographic reconnaissance missions, meteorological flights, convoy patrols, air-sea rescue missions and protection of the airbase from the Luftwaffe.
Mawgan Porth
Mawgan Porth (Cornish: Porth Maugan, meaning St Mawgan's cove, or Porth Glyvyan, meaning cove of the Gluvian river) is a beach and small settlement in north Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated north of Watergate Bay approximately four miles (6 km) north of Newquay, on the Atlantic Ocean coast. Mawgan Porth is in the civil parish of Mawgan-in-Pydar at the seaward end of the Vale of Lanherne (or Vale of Mawgan) where the River Menalhyl discharges into the sea.
