Camborne–Redruth Urban District
Camborne-Redruth was an urban district in Cornwall, United Kingdom, from 1934 to 1974. It was formed as a merger of Camborne and Redruth urban districts along with parts of Redruth Rural District and Helston Rural District (both of which were being abolished). The towns are about four miles apart and form a loose conurbation. The urban district persisted until it was merged into the Kerrier district of Cornwall under the Local Government Act 1972.

Tuckingmill (Cornish: Talgarrek, meaning hill-brow of a rock) is a village in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The parish of Tuckingmill was constituted in 1845 being carved out of a western section of the parish of Illogan and an easterly section of Camborne parish and it covers 1,300 acres . Tucking Mill (Cornish: Melyn Droghya, from the verb troghya) was the Cornish term for a fulling mill which was where homespun cloth was dipped, cleansed and dressed.
East Pool mine
East Pool mine (later known as East Pool and Agar mine), was a metalliferous mine in the Camborne and Redruth mining area, just east of the village of Pool in Cornwall, England. Worked from the early 18th century until 1945, first for copper and later tin, it was very profitable for much of its life. Today the site has two preserved beam engines and is part of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site.

The project has been funded by the National Lottery and was opened on 20th April 2012 after 14 years of planning.
