River Fal

The River Fal flows through Cornwall, England, rising at Pentevale (more correctly Pentivale) (Cornish: Penfenten Fala, meaning head spring of the Fal) on Goss Moor and reaching the English Channel at Falmouth. On or near the banks of the Fal are the castles of Pendennis and St Mawes as well as Trelissick Garden. The River Fal separates the Roseland peninsula from the rest of Cornwall.

Tregothnan

The Tregothnan Estate is located beside the village of St Michael Penkivel 3 miles south-east of Truro in Cornwall, England. The house and estate is the historic seat of the Boscawen family, Viscounts Falmouth. The original mediaeval house was sacked in the 17th century during the Civil War. The new house has the date 1652 carved in stone above the side gate. It was enlarged in the early 19th century to the designs of William Wilkins, the architect of the National Gallery in London.

Lamorran and Merther is a united ecclesiastical parish in Cornwall, United Kingdom. Merther is located two miles (3 km) west of Truro {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:50.26488|-5.00127||||||| | |name= }}. Merther church is dedicated to St Coan but is now disused and ruinous. A new church was built at Tresillian Bridge in 1904 (the font, bells, statue of St Anthony and pulpit from Merther were moved to the new church). The church was abandoned in the mid-20th century.
