Carrick, Cornwall
Carrick was a local government district in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. Its council was based in Truro. {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:50.264|-5.054||||||| |primary |name= }} The main centres of population, industry and commerce were the city of Truro and the towns of Falmouth/Penryn. The district was created under the Local Government Act 1972, on 1 April 1974 by the merger of the municipal boroughs of Truro, Falmouth and Penryn, and the Truro Rural District.

It is the product of the convergence of the two rivers named Kenwyn and Allen which run under the city: the River Truro (named after the city) flows into the River Fal, estuarial waters where wildlife is abundant, and then out into the Carrick Roads. The river is navigable up to Truro. The river valleys form a bowl surrounding the city on the north, east and west and open to the Truro River in the south.

St Dominic's Holy Well
St Dominic's Holy Well is a natural spring located in the parish of St George, Truro, Cornwall. It is located in the front garden of Carvedras House in St George's Road, Truro and is approached via stone steps which lead down from street level to the site. This would have been the Well of the White Friars or Dominicans who resided in Truro on the Friary Meads of Carvedras Manor. The water is clear and fresh although the Well would benefit from gentle dredging to clean out the silt.
High Cross, Truro
High Cross is the name of a cobbled plaza in Truro, Cornwall, United Kingdom, in front of the west face of Truro Cathedral. It is at the junction of Pydar Street, King Street, and St Mary's Street. The plaza is extensively dotted with floral hanging baskets during the summer and is the site of Truro's Christmas tree during the festive season.

Truro Bus Station is the main bus terminal in the city of Truro, Cornwall, England. It is located on Green Street, just off the main shopping areas of Lemon Quay and Boscawen Street. For the number of bus movements per hour the site is small, with ten bus stands meaning National Express services having to share stands with other local services.
Convent of the Epiphany
The Convent of the Epiphany, Truro, Cornwall, UK, was the home of the Community of the Epiphany, founded in 1883. The founder of the community was George Wilkinson, Bishop of Truro. George Wilkinson was afterwards Bishop of St Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane. The sisters were involved in pastoral and educational work, the care of Truro Cathedral and St Paul's Church, and church needlework. The head of the community was the Mother Superior and there was a branch house at Penzance.

Tremorvah Cricket Ground was a cricket ground located just outside Truro, Cornwall. The first recorded match to be played on the ground was a first-class match between an England XI and the touring Australians in 1899, which the Australians won by 7 wickets. During the match, Len Braund of the England XI made the highest individual score with the bat of 63, while the Australians Ernie Jones took the best bowling figures with 7/31. This was the only first-class match to be played at the ground.
