Carnglaze Caverns
Carnglaze Caverns consists of three man-made caverns formed as part of a slate quarry in the Loveny Valley, near the village of St Neot, Liskeard, Cornwall, England, UK. In recent years Carnglaze Caverns has been used as an unusual concert venue. The first of the caverns, the Rum Store, is so called because it was used by the Royal Navy during the Second World War to store its supply of rum. In 2001 it was converted into an auditorium with seating for 400.

The name Herodsfoot derives from the Cornish 'Nanshiryarth' and means 'the foot of the stream at Heriard'. The name 'Heriard' was changed to Heriod in the 17th century and then to Herod in the 18th century.

Moorswater
Moorswater is an industrial suburb of Liskeard in Cornwall, United Kingdom. It is situated approximately half-a-mile (0.8 km) west of Liskeard town centre. Moorswater has a long industrial history and lies south of the former mining area around Kit Hill and Caradon Hill at the southeast edge of Bodmin Moor. Moorswater was at the southern end of one of Cornwall's early railways, the Liskeard and Caradon Railway mineral line which opened in 1844.
Liskeard Grammar School
Liskeard Grammar School in Liskeard, Cornwall dates back to 1550. In its most recent incarnation it was originally known as the County School, and was built by the Cornwall Education Committee. It opened in Old Road, Liskeard in 1908. The school song reflected its location "at the foot of Cornish Moorland". In 1945, its name was changed to Liskeard Grammar School. It closed in 1978. From 1951–1976, the headmaster was John W Lingard.

St Pinnock is a hamlet and civil parish in south-east Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The parish is in the Liskeard Registration District and the population in the 2001 census was 621. To the north, the parish is bordered by St Cleer and St Neot parishes, to the east by Dobwalls and Trewidland parish, to the south by Lanreath and Duloe parishes and to the west by Broadoak parish. St Pinnock hamlet is just over a mile (2 km) south of Dobwalls and 3 miles (5 km) south-west of Liskeard.
