Praze-An-Beeble
Praze-An-Beeble (Cornish: Pras an Bibel), sometimes shortened to Praze, is a village in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It lies between the nearby towns of Camborne (2.5 miles) and Helston (7 miles) in the civil parish of Crowan. Praze-An-Beeble translates as "meadow on the river Beeble" (the small tributary of the River Hayle which runs through the bottom of the village). It has grown to become the largest village in Crowan parish.
King Edward Mine
The King Edward Mine at Camborne, Cornwall, in the United Kingdom is a mine wholly owned by the Camborne School of Mines of the University of Exeter. At the end of the 19th century students at the Camborne School of Mines spent much of their time doing practical mining and tin dressing work in the local tin mines. The industry was almost in terminal decline and the surviving mines were falling behind technically. This was hardly ideal from the instruction point of view.

Trevarno, Cornwall
Not be confused with Trevarno, California Trevarno is a country estate in south-west, Cornwall, United Kingdom, once the seat of the Bickford-Smith family. It is situated near the village of Crowntown, two miles (3 km) north-east of Helston. The estate is currently closed to the public, unfortunately. The 70 acres of grounds include gardens, woodland walks, a Museum of Gardening, a sub-tropical conservatory. Trevarno is Cornish and means "farm/settlement of Varno."

Coverack Bridges

The area is mainly farming now but has a long history of well over 200 years of granite quarry. The local quarry is still in business and is located just below the golf course along the banks of the Cobber river.
