Eden Project
The Eden Project is a visitor attraction in Cornwall in the United Kingdom. Inside the artificial biomes are plants that are collected from all around the world. The project is located in a reclaimed Kaolinite pit, located 1.25 mi (2 kilometres) from the town of St Blazey and 5 kilometres from the larger town of St Austell, Cornwall. The complex is dominated by two huge enclosures consisting of adjoining domes that house thousands of plant species, and each enclosure emulates a natural biome.

It is located approximately 2 miles east of the town centre. Between 1920 and the Second World War, Carlyon Bay was the site of the New Cornish Riviera Lido and large sports facilities. After the war it became known as the Cornish Leisure World.

Carlyon (Cornish: Karleghyon, meaning fort of rock-slabs) is one of four new civil parishes created on 1 April 2009 for the St Austell area of south Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The new parish is part coastal and part rural in character. It includes the settlements of Carlyon Bay, Garker and Tregrehan Mills and is represented by nine councillors. Carlyon Bay, the principal settlement in the parish, is approximately two miles (3 km) east of St Austell.
St Austell Bay
St Austell Bay (Cornish: Baya Ti war Dreth) is a bay on Cornwall's south coast which is bounded to the east by Gribbin Head and to the west by Black Head. Since 1 April 2009 it has also been the name of a civil parish, one of four new parishes created on for the St Austell area. It lies southeast of the town of St Austell and stretches along the coast from Charlestown in the north to Black Head in the south.
Wheal Eliza
Wheal Eliza is a cricket ground in St Austell, Cornwall. The ground is bordered to the south by Holmbush Road, to the east by the A391 road and to the north and west by housing. The end names of the ground are the City End and the Bethel End. Facilities include two playing fields with their own changing room facilities enabling two competitive matches to be played every match day. The ground also has a pavilion, scorebox, artifical and grass nets.
