Bretton Bridge
Bretton Bridge is a bridge in Flintshire, Wales. Situated between the villages of Broughton and Bretton, Bretton Bridge used to be a back-road link, often used to avoid the congestion on the A5104 (Saltney Straight). The bridge still exists today, although its use has changed from a road to a public footpath, linking the lower part of Broughton village with Broughton Park. The bridge itself used to act as a railway bridge when the line between Broughton and Kinnerton existed.

Balderton railway station
Balderton railway station was a minor railway station serving the village of Balderton in Cheshire, England. It was located on a line from Chester, to Wrexham General on a line now known as the Shrewsbury to Chester Line. The 53y Balderton Tunnel is just south of the site and there is an adjacent AHB level crossing at the site today. The Eaton Hall Railway met the GWR line at Balderton.
Pulford railway station
Pulford was a short-lived minor railway station located on the Great Western Railway's Paddington to Birkenhead line several miles south of Chester, just inside the English border. The route is still open today as part of the Shrewsbury to Chester Line. Nothing now remains at the site except for a Pulford AHB level crossing. The double track on the Wrexham to Chester section was singled in the 1980s but there are plans to re-double at least part of the route.
Bretton Hall, Flintshire
Bretton Hall is located on the border of England and Wales close to the village of Bretton, Flintshire, Wales. The original fortified manor house was surrounded by a moat, it was replaced by a brick built house adjacent to the original site in the 18th century. The moat and foundations of the original house remain. The earliest references to Bretton Hall refer to a marriage between Isobel, daughter of Ralph Holland of Bretton and Hugh de Ravenscroft of Cheshire in the 15th century.
