Congleton railway station
Congleton railway station is a mainline station serving the Cheshire town of Congleton. It lies on the Manchester to Stoke-on-Trent branch of the West Coast Main Line in the United Kingdom. The line from Stoke to Congleton was opened on 9 October 1848, with Congleton station opening on the same day and owned by the North Staffordshire Railway.
Buglawton
Buglawton is a suburb of Congleton, in the south-east of Cheshire. It was a parish and an urban district (i.e. effectively an independent town) from 1894 until 1936, when it was incorporated in Congleton borough. The area of the former parish includes the hamlets of Timbersbrook, Key Green, Crossley, and Havannah, and the Cheshire side of The Cloud.

Congleton Museum Trust was established in 1985 by a group of people interested in local history. The museum's collection includes a 1500BC burial urn, a log boat from the Norman period, and two 17th century coin hoards. The museum is located in the Market Square of Congleton.
