RAF Warboys
RAF Warboys was a World War II Royal Air Force heavy bomber station, situated just outside the village of Warboys in Huntingdonshire. The construction of R.A.F. Warboys began in 1940, the airfield that was situated to the south side of Warboys was in the county of Huntingdonshire. The airfield was built to relieve the congestion at RAF Upwood for the use of 17 OTU Blenheims. The airfield was near completion in 1941.
