Blackburn Rovers Football Club is an English professional association football club based in the town of Blackburn, Lancashire. The team competes in the Football League Championship from the 2012–13 season. They were relegated from the Premier League, the top tier of English football, at the end of the 2011–12 season. The club are currently without a manager after sacking manager Michael Appleton on 19 March 2013, the third manager to lost his job in 6 months after Steve Kean and Henning Berg.

Blackburn Arena is an Olympic size ice arena in Blackburn, England, and the home of Blackburn Hawks and Lancashire Raptors ice hockey clubs. The arena, which opened in 1991, holds 3,200 people and has an ice pad of 60 by 30 metres (by ft). The arena is owned by Peel Holdings, who purchased it from the original owners, Blackburn Council. Planning permission was granted at the time of building for an extra 1,000 or so seats at the back of the arena.

Radio Rovers is the official radio station of the English Premiership football side Blackburn Rovers FC. It was launched at Ewood park on 30 October 1993 and was the first dedicated football club radio station in the United Kingdom and remains the best, according to a June 2010 FA survey. The studio is located in the Darwen End one of the stands at Blackburns Ground Ewood Park. The station only airs on Blackburn match days.
