Rondo Theatre
The Rondo Theatre, in Bath, was established in 1989 through the generosity of Doreen and Wilf Williams, who bought the former church hall from St. Saviours Church, Larkhall in 1976 and gifted the freehold to a newly formed charity, The Rondo Trust for the Performing Arts. The building has been converted into a one hundred and five seat theatre, with a bar down the side of the raked seating.
RAF Charmy Down
Royal Air Force Station Charmy Down or more simply RAF Charmy Down is a former Royal Air Force station in Somerset, England. The airfield is located approximately 3 miles north-northeast of Bath; about 96 miles west of London Opened in 1941, it was used by both the Royal Air Force and United States Army Air Forces. During the war it was used primarily as night fighter interceptor airfield. After the war it was closed in 1945.
St Stephen's Church, Bath
St Stephen's Church is a church in Bath, Somerset England. Designed to serve the spiritual needs of northeast Bath by James Wilson and built between 1840-1845, from Bath Stone, a limestone sourced from the Limpley Stoke mine which is situated in the Limpley Stoke Valley. St Stephen's Church on Lansdown Road in Walcot cost £6,000. The constructed church, however, remained unconsecrated until 1881.
