E 11 road (United Arab Emirates)
E 11 is a highway in the United Arab Emirates. The longest road in the UAE, E 11 stretches from Al Silah in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and ends in Ras Al Khaimah emirate at the Oman border, running roughly parallel to UAE's coastline along the Persian Gulf. The road forms the main artery in some emirates' main cities, where it assumes various alternate names — Sheikh Maktoum Road in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, and Sheikh Muhammed bin Salem Road in Ras Al Khaimah.
21st Century Tower
The 21st Century Tower is a 55-story skyscraper along the Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai . When it was completed in 2003 it took the title of the world's tallest residential building, but later the Eureka Tower in Melbourne, Australia and the Q1 tower in Australia's Gold Coast bumped it to its current position. It is occupied by Cabin Crew and Flight Crew of Emirates Airline. It has a gym on the top floor and a pool on the roof. The skyscraper contains seven elevators.

The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is an on-shore financial hub which aims to provide a platform for business and financial institutions to reach into and out of the emerging markets of the region. It was established to create an environment for growth, progress and economic development in the United Arab Emirates and the wider region by providing the needed legal and business as well as physical infrastructure benchmarked against international standards.
Dubai International Convention Centre
The Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre was built in 1979 by the late H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai. The Dubai World Trade Center is considered to be the focal point of business within the Middle East. Since its inauguration, the centre has played a role in stimulating regional and international trade through the UAE.
American School of Dubai
The American School of Dubai (ASD), previously known as the Jumeirah American School, is located in the Al-Barsha community of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. An independent not for profit community school, ASD was founded in 1966 to serve the needs of North American families and other expatriate populations in Dubai. It was the first American curriculum school established in Dubai and is still the only nonprofit American school located in the emirate.
The Dubai Mall
The Dubai Mall is the world's largest shopping mall based on total area and sixth largest by gross leasable area. Located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, it is part of the 20-billion-dollar Burj Khalifa complex, and includes 1,200 shops. Access to the mall is provided via Doha Street, rebuilt as a double-decker road in April 2009. Twice delayed, Dubai Mall opened on 4 November 2008, with about 635 retailers, marking the world's largest-ever mall opening in retail history.
JW Marriott Marquis Dubai
The JW Marriott Marquis Dubai Hotel is a 72-storey, 355 m twin-tower skyscraper complex in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The AED1.8 billion features a 1,608 room hotel run by Marriott International. The JW Marriott Marquis Dubai Hotel is the tallest hotel in Dubai, surpassing the Rose Rayhaan by Rotana, and it was the world's tallest hotel when opened.
Business Bay
Business Bay is a central business district under construction in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The project features numerous skyscrapers located in an area where Dubai Creek will be dredged and extended. Business Bay will have upwards of 240 buildings, comprising commercial and residential developments. The infrastructure of Business Bay has been completed in 2008, and the entire development is expected to be completed between 2012-2015.
The Address Downtown Dubai
The Address Downtown Dubai, formerly The Address Downtown Burj Dubai, is a 63-storey, 302.2 m supertall hotel and residential skyscraper in the Burj Dubai Development Area of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is the 12th tallest building in the city. The tower is another supertall structure in the massive development named Downtown Dubai, which includes the centerpiece supertall building, the Burj Khalifa.
Al Satwa
Al Satwa is a community in Dubai, United Arab Emirates comprising high-density retail outlets and private residential dwellings. It is located southwest of Bur Dubai and adjacent to Sheikh Zayed Road. Originally, its residents were mainly of the Bloushi tribe. Notable features include the Iranian Hospital and the Al Satwa bus terminal. Al Satwa is known for its large South Asian community. E 11 (Sheikh Zayed Road) forms the southern boundary of Al Satwa.
Safa Park
Safa Park is a 64 hectare (158.147 acre) urban park located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is 10.53 km (6.60 mi) southwest of the traditional center of Dubai along Sheikh Zayed Road. The park is bordered by Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Wasl Road, Al Hadiqa Street, and 55th Street. Created in 1975, Safa Park was located on the outskirts of Dubai. Prior to its creation, the area was inhabited by illegal immigrants from South Asia. They lived in makeshift homes without running water.
Dusit Thani Dubai
Dusit Thani Dubai (formerly Dusit Dubai) is a 153 m, 40-storey hotel tower in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Construction of the Dusit Dubai was completed in 2001. The most notable aspect of the tower is that the structure is divided into two bases which join at the top. It is believed to have been constructed as such to resemble the wai, the Thai greeting. The left base contains apartments while the right base are fully furnished hotel apartments.
Dubai School of Government
The Dubai School of Government is a research and teaching institution in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, which focuses on public policy in the Arab world. The school was established in 2005 under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai. The founding Executive Dean was Yassar Jarrar.
Al Bada
Al Bada is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Al Bada is located in western Dubai and is bordered by the localities of Jumeirah, Al Hudaiba and Al Satwa. Al Bada is largely residential and is bounded by D 92 (Al Wasl Road) and D 90 (Al Satwa Road). The Iranian Hospital is located in Al Bada.
Al Wasl, Dubai
Al Wasl is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The locality is located in western Dubai, between the first and second interchanges of route E 11 (Sheikh Zayed Road). Al Wasl is a residential community and is bordered to the north by Jumeirah, to the south by Business Bay, to west by Al Safa and to the east by Al Satwa. The locality gets its name from a historic British reference to the city of Dubai.
Trade Centre 1
Trade Centre 1 is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Located in western Dubai, Trade Centre 1 forms the northern half of the commercial and residential district on Sheikh Zayed Road. The locality begins at Trade Centre Roundabout, at the intersection of Sheikh Zayed Road and route D 73 (Al Dhiyafa Road), and terminates at the 2nd Interchange (Defence Roundabout).
Trade Centre 2
Trade Centre 2, also known as Dubai Financial Centre, is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Trade Centre 2 is located in the western Dubai, along Sheikh Zayed Road. It borders Trade Centre 1 to the north, Business Bay to the south, and Zabeel to the east. Trade Centre 2 begins at Trade Centre Roundabout (Interchange No. 1), at the intersection of Sheikh Zayed Road and route D 63 (Al Dhiyafa Road) and terminates at Interchange No. 2 (Defence Roundabout).
Al Markada
Al Markada, also spelled Al Marked or Al Markad, is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Located in western Dubai in Bur Dubai, Al Markada is bordered to the north by Zabeel and Business Bay, to the south by Nad Al Sheba and Al Quoz and to the east by Bu Kadra. It is bounded to the north by route E 44 (Al Khail Road) and to the south by route D 69 (Muscat Road). Al Markada is primarily known for its camel race course and isn't a residential community.
Conrad Dubai
The Conrad Dubai is an 51-storey 255 m skyscraper under construction in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The tower was topped out in 2012, with the expected completion in 2013.
Downtown Dubai
Downtown Dubai, previously known as Downtown Burj Dubai, is a large-scale mixed-use complex under development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is the home of some of the city's most important landmarks including Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, and Dubai Fountain. It covers an area of 2 square kilometres, and estimated to cost US$20 billion (Dh73 billion) upon completion. The complex is situated along Sheikh Zayed Road across from Al Wasl locality on the north-west.
The Dubai Fountain
The Dubai Fountain is the worlds largest choreographed fountain system set on the 30-acre manmade Burj Khalifa Lake, at the center of the Downtown Dubai development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was designed by WET Design, the California-based company responsible for the fountains at the Bellagio Hotel Lake in Las Vegas.
Dubai Japanese School
The Dubai Japanese School is a Japanese curriculum school located in the Al Wasl area in Dubai. The Northern Association of Japanese Community established the school in 1980. The school is in proximity of Jumeira Beach. The pink-colored building is adjacent to the Modern High School campus. At 8 AM on each school day, students in grades 1-9 begin a periodic cleaning of the campus.
O-14 (Dubai)
O14 or O-14 is an office skyscraper located in Business Bay in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is 102 m tall and has 23 floors. The building's floor area is 300,000 sq ft . There is a 1 meter space between the facade and the windows which allows hot air to rise and cool air to come in from below. The facade is 40 cm thick and made of an extremely fluid concrete. It has 1000 circular openings of various sizes.
University of Atlanta Dubai
