Dubailand
Dubailand is an entertainment complex being built in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, which is owned by Tatweer (which belongs to Dubai Holding). When announced in 2003 it was one of the most ambitious leisure developments ever proposed anywhere in the world costing 64.3 billion, but development has been severely impacted by global recession and Dubai's financial crisis. The development was put on hold in 2008 and as of early 2013 has not resumed.
Global Village (Dubai)

E 311 road (United Arab Emirates)
E 311 (known in Arabic as شارع ﺇ ٣١١) is a major route in the United Arab Emirates. The road begins in Jebel Ali Free Zone and extends eastward towards Ras Al Khaimah. It was initially designed by the Dubai Municipality originally to cut the traffic of heavy vehicles from the downtown area. However, due to a very bad road infracture in Sharjah, traffic bottle-necks are often seen near Dubai-Sharjah border.

Majan
Majan is the mixed use development under construction in Dubailand, covering an area of 15.6 million sq ft the development will take three years to build with an expected cost of AED 15 billion. Majan will be the downtown of Dubailand, upon completion, Majan comprises, residential units, retail and entertainment. Around 32% of the area will comprises residential units, 44% will be retail and entertainment, and 24% commercial units. A total of 150 towers will shape the Majan skyline.
Falconcity of Wonders
The Falconcity of Wonders, announced in 2005, is a project being built in Dubai that will feature life-size replicas of the seven wonders of the world such as the Egyptian pyramids, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, and other famous monuments such as the Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. It is a part of Dubailand, covering an area of 100 acres with an estimated cost of $36.5 billion.
Dubai Autodrome
The Dubai Autodrome is an FIA sanctioned 5.39 km motorsports circuit located in Dubailand, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Opened in October 2004 with the final round of the 2004 Formula Renault V6 Eurocup season, Dubai Autodrome was the first part of the Dubai Motor City development that was available for use. The venue hosted the December 2005 A1 Grand Prix and the FIA GT Championship from 2004 to 2006.
Dubai Studio City
Dubai Studio City is part of Dubai Media City in Dubai, UAE. Following in the footsteps of Dubai Media City, it will cater to the production needs of the region and has plans to build movie studios like Hollywood sound stages backlots for various production needs. It is located opposite the upmarket gated community of Arabian Ranches. Dubai Media City and Dubai Studio City both belong to Dubai Holding subsidiary TECOM Investments.
Universal Studios Dubailand
Universal Studios Dubailand is a proposed Universal theme park located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Its plans call for it to be located within Dubailand, a planned entertainment mega-complex. The project broke ground in July 2008 but was put on hold shortly thereafter, and as of December 2012, no construction work has taken place on the project since early 2009.
City of Arabia
City of Arabia is a spectacular multibillion US$ retail, residential, commercial and entertainment destination lying at the gateway to Dubailand. With business and administrative offices, schools and clinics, supported by luxury apartments, shops, galleries, restaurants and unique attractions, City of Arabia will become a key destination and urban community within the new Dubai. The project will have a phased opening starting towards the end of 2013.
E 44 road (United Arab Emirates)
E 44 is one of the main roads of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The road connects the city of Dubai to the town of Hatta. In Dubai, the city is also referred to as Al Khail Road, Ras al Khor Road and, Al Aweer Road Dubai-Hatta Highway. E 44 also connects the UAE with Oman. E 44 originates (as Al Khail Road) in Al Barsha, Dubai and runs roughly parallel to E 11 (Sheikh Zayed Road) and E 311 (Emirates Road).

The master plan of Jumeirah Garden City refers to the re-development of a 9,000,000-square-metre land area, conceptualized to be a part of the 2015 strategic plan for Dubai. The development consists of 12 districts with an envision built up area of 14,000,000 square metres . The Jumeirah garden city will aims to cater to a population of 50,000 to 60,000 residents. The project will cost approximately Dh350 billion (approx. $95bn).

The Dubai Promenade was a proposed development by Nakheel to be built at east of the Dubai Marina. Built on an artificial self reclaimed island,the whole project was expected to be completed by 2011. If Dubai promenade would have cover an area of approximately 1,060,000 square metres .
Dubai Lifestyle City
JW Marriott Residences - Dubai Lifestyle City is a multi-purpose development project in the Dubailand area of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, covering over 4.15 million square feet. Dubai Lifestyle City at Dubailand was officially inaugurated in January 2006. When completed, the development will have 68 villas and 120 villettes (apartments), golf course, auditorium, theatre, and sports and recreational facilities.
Sahara Kingdom
Sahara Kingdom theme park, situated in the Attractions & Experience World in Dubailand, will cover 460,000 square metres and will combine high end virtual and physical theme park rides, attractions such as a state of the art gaming zone, IMAX theater, and integrated live and virtual entertainment shows, together with a retail zone, four hotels and residential accommodation. The theme of the development is traditional Arabia folklore and the tales of One Thousand and One Nights.
Legends of Dubailand
Legends of Dubailand also known as Arabian Legends and Legends-Dubailand, is a mixed-use entertainment development project being built in Dubailand. The AED 14 billion (US$ 3.8 billion) project when completed, will occupy 24,700,000 square feet and will be located along Dubai's Emirates Road opposite to Global Village.
Dubai Eye 103.8
Dubai Eye 103.8 is the first talk radio station established in the Middle East. The channel serves an audience of more than 91,000 listeners, serving a multicultural audience of local UAE Nationals and expatriates living in Dubai. More than 70 people from 21 nationalities work in the station. The station produces more than 140 hours of live, original, in house programming each week, and is broadcast from media hub Dubai Studio City.
F1-X Dubai
F1-X Dubai was a proposed theme park dedicated to Formula One. It would have been the first official F1 theme park and was to be built by Union Properties close to the Dubai Autodrome as part of the MotorCity section of Dubailand. Union Properties obtained the exclusive rights to build such parks, budgeting $360 million for the Dubai site and originally having plans for sites also in Europe and the Far East.
Meydan Racecourse
Meydan Racecourse is able to accommodate over 60,000 spectators in a 1 mile long grandstand. When not used for races it will serve as a business and conference integrated facility. Dubai Sports Complex
Dubai Sports Complex is a multi purpose stadium in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The stadium was completed in summer 2010. It hosted the 2010 FINA World Swimming Championships (25 m), in which 153 countries participated. The stadium will host international aquatic events. It has total capacity of 15,000 spectators.
Latifa School for Girls
Latifa School for Girls was founded in 1982 by Sheikh Maktoum. It was headed by Tim Charlton, who also founded Dubai College in 1978.
UPS Airlines Flight 6
UPS Airlines Flight 6 was a cargo flight operated by UPS Airlines. On September 3, 2010, a Boeing 747-400 flying the route between Dubai International Airport and Cologne Bonn Airport crashed close to Dubai airport, killing the two crew members. The aircraft had departed Dubai International earlier, but returned after reporting smoke in the cockpit. It was the first fatal air crash for UPS Airlines. The crash caused an examination of safety procedures protecting airliners from cockpit smoke.
Al Minhad Air Base
Al Minhad Air Base is a military installation in the United Arab Emirates. The base is located approximately 15 miles south of Dubai and is operated by the United Arab Emirates Air Force.
