Al Mushrif

Salam Street

Salam Street runs through the main modern shopping area and Robat Street, the new bypass north of the town.

Alghadeer
alghadeer is a 3 million sqm property development on the eastern border of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, on the border between the city and Dubai. Part of the wider Saih Al Sidirah development. It was launched in October 2007 by Sorouh Real Estate at Cityscape Dubai 2007. On May 2009 some elements of the project have been adjusted due to the challenging market conditions.

St. Joseph's Cathedral is the only Catholic Church in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The first Church was built in 1962 in the present Corniche on a plot of land donated by H.H. Sheikh Shakbut, the ruler of Abu Dhabi at that time. On March 19, 1981, The Church was relocated to its present location in Abu Dhabi. On February 25, 1983, the Church became a Cathedral serving the Roman Catholic Vicariate Apostolic of Southern Arabia with Bishop Bernard G. Gremoli as resident bishop.

The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (commonly abbreviated ADNEC) is an exhibition centre in Abu Dhabi. It was opened by Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates on February 18, 2007. The venue is the largest exhibition centre in the Middle East with 73,000sqm of indoor event space. ADNEC stages around 100 exhibitions, conferences, live events and weddings every year and receives approximately 1.8 million visitors every year.
